Good location if you just arrive late and depart the next day (our case), close to the train station and to the bus that gets you there from/ to the airport. Breakfast ok, nothing fancy though (if you call fried eggs or omelet fancy that is...).

One of the best accommodations I’ve had the chance to stay in recently – and I travel a lot. For this price range, I was genuinely impressed with everything, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The host welcomed me already on the street and found a suitable spot for my large car, even helping me park it. Then I was kindly greeted by his mother and daughter, who showed me around the house and explained all the amenities. I didn’t even know breakfast was included – they simply asked what I would like and at what time I wanted it prepared. Since I was planning to leave early, they offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast instead, which was such a nice surprise! They were even so kind as to offer help carrying my suitcase upstairs – which I politely declined, but it just shows the level of service and care they provide. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was a shower – and to my delight, the bathroom was spacious, clean, and even had a bathtub where I could properly relax. The room had working air conditioning that cooled it down instantly, plus a Smart TV with Netflix. The bed was so comfortable that I ended up sleeping longer than planned. Instead of leaving at 5 AM, I left at 7, and was welcomed downstairs by the son with a beautifully set breakfast table and my takeaway box ready. He also made me probably the best cappuccino I’ve ever had – the foam was perfect, and I immediately asked for a second one. As I was leaving, I got my takeaway breakfast, and he kindly handed me a cold bottle of water for the road. Just wow – incredible service from start to finish. I’ll definitely save this place and choose it again whenever I pass through. Uno dei migliori alloggi in cui ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare ultimamente – e viaggio davvero molto. This was definitely a highlight of our vacation. An absolutely amazing place, with very friendly and helpful hosts, Raffaella and the property manager Darwin. We only saw Darwin when he brought us some refreshments; otherwise, he was like a ghost, even though he stayed at the castle the entire time. 😄 We’d just notice cushions appearing and disappearing, the pool always clean, etc. Both Raffaella and Darwin promptly assisted us with every request we had. Thank you! The property is wonderful and feels truly authentic, the decorations aren’t just for show and include some historical artifacts. The pool was clean and very pleasant, and the view was incredible. For part of our stay, we had the property to ourselves, which was a truly amazing experience. We didn’t miss a thing - cold water was always available in the fridge, there were board games, and even a ping-pong table. Calm, peaceful, and VERY PRIVATE. Exploring the entire property was a magical, game-like experience.

We had such an enjoyable stay- we were so well looked after. The location was spectacular with lovely views overlooking the Po valley. We had a delicious supper and really enjoyed the wine that was produced by the family. Thank you !

The BnB is run by an exceptionally friendly couple. The building dates back to the Middle Ages and is worth seeing for that reason alone. The suites are very spacious and tastefully furnished. It has everything a guest could need. The breakfast was fresh and made up of delicious regional products. Good restaurants are just a few kilometres away. The host will tell you!

We were on the Via Francigena on bicycles. Anna & Carlo were very welcoming and warm. The apartment we stayed in was absolutely wonderful with a fantastic balcony. They were incredibly helpful.
