We were really well looked after. Excellent facilities for biking, access to a pool, gorgeous garden, and restaurant. We really enjoyed our day on bikes hired from the albergo. Restaurant food in the evening was superb.

This hotel is truly exceptional. We forgot our baby’s vest and they called us back immediately notifying us. When we arrived to collect it we were then super stressed by our child having been in the car for too long and they welcomed us back and let us use the pool to relax before returning to our journey. Incredible staff, amazing pool and stunning 10/10 fresh breakfast from croissants to home made torta della nonna. We loved it. Thank you so much

We were made to feel very welcome by Anna, Alessia and Elenor and no questions, requests or enquiries on our part were ever too much for these fantastic ladies. Our room was spacious, clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels etc.. The room was made up every day whilst we were our and although we never met the house staff in person we would like the management to pass on our gratitude to these unseen workers The continental style breakfast, which was included with our booking, was well portioned, always fresh and where necessary, hot. There are plenty of loungers around the pool area and the pool itself is very clean aided by the underwater pool cleaning robot and occasionally ground staff. The hotel itself is in a quiet area set back from the road and a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach at Torre Grande. We would not recommend swimming in the sea here. The water is very brown and when we mentioned this to Anna, she immediately told us of better cleaner beaches towards Tharros which are about a 15 minute drive away. The village of Torre Grande itself has numerous bars and restaurants plus a pharmacy and small supermarket. Be warned however, due to Sardinia’s Spanish past, the locals siesta in the afternoon so shops and pharmacies tend to close between 14.00 and 16.30.

Breakfast was amazing!!! We really enjoyed the selection of local cheeses, the bread options, and all the other food items in the atmospheric buffet room. For my partner, who is gluten intolerant, the amazing charming host had baked gluten free croissants and more. The place itself is beautifully decorated, where we were staying in the spacious family room. Although it is a short walk to the city center, the courtyard and the rest of the property feel like a calm and peaceful oasis.

Rita was the kindest most big hearted and accommodating hostess. She treated my daughter and me as if we were family. The room was squeaky clean, spacious and the AC was fantastic. We even had our own little patio area. The breakfast was sumptuous with fresh food and many choices. I hope to come back. Thank you Rita for all you did for us, even inviting us to beautiful concert in your church making us feel like part of your own community.

    Cabras is not that touristy, it is a living little city.

    Cabras is not that touristy, it is a living little city. We liked that a lot. There was a festa when we were there and we felt part of it. Cabras is also well situated to go to different places at the coast and the mountains. There are many good restaurants with delicious fish and seafood, but also meat.

    Luisessa is a remarkable host and works hard to to make your visit as great as possible…as a Cabras native she knows the city’s history, the best places to go as well as the best restaurants & she is extremely knowledgeable about the beaches. Her breakfasts are wonderful, especially the seatas, and she makes a great long coffee!

    Barbara has the sweetest B&B in the center of Cabras. The room is large, charming and efficient with a/c, small tv, fridge, large wardrobe, and full bathroom w/shower. Her breakfast is a full spread of homemade pastries, jams, meat and cheese board, coffee and juice in her garden. She was a super host and you can feel her care throughout every touch and detail! The B&B is located minutes from several great restaurants and a lovely bar across the street. We loved our time there and would definitely come back.

    The stay at Il riposo dei Giganti was perfect: the house is cosy, clean, super equipped with everything necessary. There are two nice yards perfect for chilling and barbecue. Super friendly and helpful host. We felt very welcome and at home. The location allowed us quick ride to Oristano city with historical sights and charming streets, gorgeous Is Arutas beach with unique rice sand; there’s also great archaeological museum in Cabras and ancient city Tharros, definitely worth visiting.

    The breakfast in all of our hotels in Sardinia was pretty much the same, so in that regard the breakfast was very good. Everything was new here, so all in very good working condition and new state. Modern design. The hostess was very helpful, sent us a whole bunch of resto, beaches and things to do via Whatsapp.
