The stay was AMAZING. We had most contact with Vincent. He gave us a lot of advice and also speaks well French because i'm not good @ speaking Italian. The room with bathroom was really tidy, it comes with a bathtub (we liked it but i can understand that some people prefer a shower). We got suggestions to have dinner @ an amazing (but affordable!) restaurant. You can do a lot of hiking starting from the appartement. The old mill was really in an authentic state. We also took the option of the prepared dinner by the host. This dinner is in the middle of the old mill what gives a unique atmosphere. We had an an amazing first course(that already felt like a main course because there was so many) and then multiple main courses and dessert. It was 45 euro pp, not cheap but definitly worth it! There is a small terras next to the room with 3 chairs with a view of the mountains in the distance, its also really quiet because it is a dead end road, only a small path for hikers nearby to pass. Both the hosts were really helpfull and kind and open for a lot of converations. I definatly recommend to stay @ Frantoio Del Moscatello, this was our 3rd stop in Italy and this gave us the best holliday mood!

This was a last-minute booking as we were looking for a 3-bedroom apartment close to the beach - and we found this hidden treasure! The layout is absolutely perfect, with three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of them en-suite), making it ideal for families or groups. The beach is just a short 7-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket nearby as well, which was super convenient. We had a few questions about the apartment, as some things weren’t immediately obvious to us, but the host responded very quickly and was extremely helpful.

Absolutely stunning location, well worth the extra effort up a narrow winding road for that view! Casa Berti is clearly well loved and cared for. It was incredibly well equipped, tons of kitchen equipment, very comfy bed, lovely interior and the outdoor shower tops it all off beautifully!

We are walking the via Francigena. We arrived on foot - a lovely tranquil entrance to Via Cavallini with Isabella (the owner) waiting for us. Check-in was effortless. Not having a car, we enjoyed the tasting menu prepared by Isabella and her mother - what a lovely dining experience. We had dinner outside on the terrace with a wonderful view. Isabella introduced every course of the menu - very informative. Room and bathroom very spacious. Clean. Very comfy bed. Highly reccommended! Thank you Issbella

The beaches and the esplanade are tremendous, The food is fantastic. The people were welcoming, and did not judge us on our poor Italian language skills. The area is very cycling friendly , and easy to hire bikes if needed.

Camaiore is a lovely little town.

Camaiore is a lovely little town. Some really good restaurants, great food. The people are very friendly and helpful. The scenery is typical tuscanny... amazing. Beaches (Lido de Camaiore and Viareggio) are easily reached. Pisa and Livorno are also easily reached if you want big towns but also the countryside is all around. Simply a wonderful location and stunning destination. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to spend one night at Villa La Bianca in...

I was lucky enough to spend one night at Villa La Bianca in May 2022. My VW’s GPS was inaccurate but when I telephoned the Villa, Julia guided me right to their gates just up the road a piece. I was road weary, and Julia helped me navigate with luggage from parking lot to room with patience, charm, and a golf cart. The Villa was quiet and they had upgraded me to a beautiful suite with a working fireplace and library. The Villa La Bianca compendium was thorough, and told a very interesting story of its history. The room itself was gorgeous and comfortable. The restaurant was superb. Chef was accommodating when I requested fish on what was meat night. Indoor dining was in beautiful surrounds with great lighting. In the morning when I was scheduled to leave for Pisa, Julia seeing how exhausted I was convinced me to stay and take advantage of the pool. This was some of the best advice I have ever taken. The pool is set amongst immaculately manicured and flowering grounds next to chef’s herb garden. I didn't see much of Camaiore proper, but what I did see driving through of the village was charming, and the vistas seen from Villa La Bianca were breathtaking and compelling. I hope very much to return to Villa La Bianca.

Camaiore is a very charming little town, especially its old town center, the pedestrian zone, with its lovely bars, shops, and so on. It's only about 6 km from the sea and conveniently located for visiting other very attractive cities like Lucca and Pisa.

A lovely village just 30 km from the Leaning Tower of Pisa...

A lovely village just 30 km from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and 10 km from the beach. Many places to see nearby, such as the Candalla waterfall. The Islotta Santa is only 40 km away. We also visited Florence (120 km). Good places to eat.

Camaiore is a small, quiet town with a number of excellent restaurants, pastry shops, cafes and bakeries. We were especially impressed by the Tre Botti restaurant and the Lorenzo cafe, where they have truly irresistible croissants and great coffee. Just drive a few kilometers beyond the town and you will find yourself in the beautiful scenery of the Apuan Alps with streams, waterfalls, picturesque corners. It is a short drive to Pisa and Lucca, and about 20 minutes to the sea.

The appartment is directly located in front of the beach. Warm welcome through the landlord with a lot of local information. The appartment offers everything you need - e.g. towels, bed linens, coffee, toilette paper, detergent for the washing machine and dishwasher too. The kitchen has a lot of equipment. Public beach is just a five minute walk away. Just across the street are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The next supermarket is only a five minute drive by car. Free parking lots are in walking distance - approx. 5-10 minutes.

House is surrounded of mountains and short distance from the sea and many beautiful places. Many old historical towns as Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and Pietrasanta in 15-30 min. drive on a car. Many high quality restaurants around the house. Owner Rossana is very helpful and friendly women.

Everything was perfect! A wonderful location, a great accomodation and a great host! Marco told us everything about surroundings, restaurants, beach and places to visit in Camaiore, even came with us on a long walk in the mountains! A perfect holiday!
