It was really lovely and we were amazed by host. They were really helpfull and appartment was very clean and beautifull. We would recommend to everybody to stay here while in Tuscany. Great views and close to sea. Beautifull old town Capalbio. We will get back here for sure!

Everything was great! 😊 We felt wonderful in the apartment – very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The location is excellent: a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet only a few minutes by car to the beach. Nearby there is a shop, a bakery, a pizzeria, and a restaurant, so everything you need is within easy reach. A perfect place for a relaxing holiday – we definitely recommend it!

The hotel overlooks a spectacular valley yet is right in the...

The hotel overlooks a spectacular valley yet is right in the town. You can walk to any of the restaurants and even the hilltop tower within minutes. If you are exploring the lower Tuscany region (Tarot Garden, Saturnia, etc) this IS your base. Incredible breakfast, very comfortable beds, great staff. When travelling we usually like to try new places, but when we return to Capalbio we will also return to Valle Del Buttero. It is that good. The closest restaurant is a 2 minute walk. L'angolo Di Capalbia was great - obviously a local favorite, and we were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the cuisine at very reasonable cost.

Charming hilltop ancient village with delightful winding...

Charming hilltop ancient village with delightful winding passages, a castle, ramparts, spectacular views and very good restaurants. The residents are very friendly. Capalbio is close to the Jardin des Tarots de Niki de Saint Phalle which is why we picked this village. It is also not far from the sea. You need strong legs for this village but take it slow and many delightful secrets are revealed. I intend to return soon.

Best wine and food in Italy.

Best wine and food in Italy. Fantastic salumi from Marcelleria norcineria La Ciccia del Brigante, all made by the same man who also serves in the shop in Piazza Silone Ignazio. La Porte and Trattoria Toscana restaurants both great Low light pollution at night, the Milky Way visible in many places there. Accommodation expensive.

Capalbio is worth visiting.

Capalbio is worth visiting. The views are beautiful and the architecture is charming. There are a few restaurants that are worth checking out. Is is worth visiting the Tarot Gardens if you can. If you don't have a car you will need to take a cab to from the train station. Worth it!

Susanna is an excellent host. The little appartment is super clean and has every little thing you can think of that you might need. The little garden is quiet with a nice view of the old tower of Capalbio. We fell in love with the place and will be back next year. Susanna and Lele gave us great tips for beach and restaurants. Mille grazie e a la prossima!!!!

Beautiful hotel, in the middle of the countryside so very peaceful and quiet. Room was lovely and very spacious (we did book a deluxe, and am pleased we did) Breakfasts were amazing with a great choice Staff very helpful, particularly the concierge. Wished we had experienced better weather as the pool area is beautiful.

A lovely place to stay very close to Capalbio which is such a beautiful, ancient town. The owners were really friendly and the communications before our stay were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed throwing the frisbee for the dog!
