The apartment was large and very comfortable. It was in a fabulous position in the old town. Easy to get to. I arrived really early expecting to leave my bags but the apartment was ready and I was able to unpack and freshen up before going out for lunch. I was welcomed with a big smile. The entrance is very pretty, decorated with flowers.

The surroundings are beautiful and the pool area is very nice. There are sunloungers and umbrella's, nice flowers and trees, different seating areas around the property. We stayed in the trulli roof, which was a great experience for one night, although for tall people (I am 1.76m), it does require to be careful not to bump your head. The bathroom is quite small and low. There was a small fridge, hairdryer, 2 sets of cutlery, and aircon in the room. There is an adjacent roof terrace with a table and two chairs and two sunloungers. We got extra towels for the pool.

The breakfast was the most delicious breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. So many things were home made. The eggs were fresh from the chickens in the garden. The family was so welcoming and the property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Great for small children - little playground, garden to run around, gated pool, small bikes and scooters. Everything you could need!

Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally...

Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally placed to visit all the towns around such as Ostuni, Ceglie M, Alberobello (although this is like Disneyland), Locorotondo, M. Franca, Monopoli and Putignano, or even Bari. It's also not far from Salento which I combined with this trip and did Lecce, Otranto, Oria, Gallipoli, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca. It is also only just over an hour to Matera which should not be missed and a unique town very much worth the time and kms. There are plenty of restaurants in Cisternino and for your morning coffee e brioche don't miss going to Vignola History or visit the panificio Vignola for a delicious freshly made panino and other treats that will put plenty of padding on the hips.

Very good position to visit the region. Town is lovely and interesting. Nice for people watching and strolling. We went to the amazing Zoo Safari in Fasano - do it. Great caseificios - buy some very fresh local products.

We stayed just outside Cisternino and visited for an afternoon. Beautiful town, very clean with all the essentials. Lovely to wonder around as there were far less tourists then in nearby Ostuni. Would definitely recommending visiting if in region.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful. The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

This was an authentic trullo on the outskirts of Cisternino-a very cute little Puglian city. There was a good supermarket bakery nearby but the best was the restaurant right next door. Some of the best food we have had in Italy. Stella and her Papa were very helpful. The trullo was so handy to visit Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo and Martina Franco but we really enjoyed the views and less busy squares of Cisternino

We enjoyed our stay. There were a number of extra treats in the kitchen. The location in the heart of the old town was perfect for exploring and eating out, A wonderful restaurant just over the road where we had our best meal in two weeks in Puglia. Having a laundry and drying line on terrace a huge bonus. Oh and a stunning sunset from the terrace.
