If you check out the website for Döit, you will see that in the Piedmont dialect, Döit means ‘care’ and care is exactly the right word to describe this marvellous experience which started with a very warm welcome from hosts Elisabetta and Massimo. Döit is located in the small quiet hamlet of Coniolo, which is close to the town of Casale Monferrato and is located c50km south-east of Biella mid way between Milan and Turin at the start of the Monferrato hills. It is in a beautiful location with fantastic views to the north across the plains of the river Po and to the south and west towards the Monferrato hills. Don’t miss the photo opportunities from the romantic viewpoint in Coniolo and be sure to take a rose from the ‘Cassetta delle rose’ for your loved one. Massimo was always on hand with helpful tips on places to visit and excellent recommendations for restaurants - there are two in Coniolo which were both excellent. We also ate at the restaurant at Sacro Monte di Crea - a beautiful location not to be missed. Massimo can also make arrangements to suit any of your particular interests whether it be cycling where local cycle hire is available for both standard and electric bicycles or visits to local cheese producers or local wine producers… In fact, just explain your interests and Massimo will come up with a plan for you. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and leisurely with a wide choice of both savoury and sweet local products. The rooms were very well decorated and you can clearly see how much care has been taken in making sure that everything is just right for your stay. The name of the house, Döit, is also a play on words as you could read it as ‘Do It’, If you want to visit the area, I would really recommend that you do exactly that - Do it. Leave the big hotels aside and come and stay at Döit in Coniolo.

Great location, 10 minutes from Casale and Vignale. The village of Terrugia where the hotel is located is quite nice as well. The staff is great, the breakfast buffet has all what you need, and I was offered to make me a hot beverage if the regular coffee in display was not to my taste. The dining room where the breakfast is is absolutely breathtaking, and has large windows on a very nice garden. The domain itself is quite large and has many nice views when you walk through it to get to your room. The rooms are quite specious. I had a double room and the bed was king size. My room even had a sunny terrasse. The bathroom is quite modern and has all utilities.

We stayed overnight on our way south. Easy safe parking with modern room and good air-conditioning. All was very clean. Also swimming pool and surrounding very clean. Place is run by two very accommodating sisters. Recommended 👍

Don’t miss the photo opportunities from the romantic viewpoint in Coniolo and be sure to take a rose from the ‘Cassetta delle rose’ for your loved one. Massimo was always on hand with helpful tips on places to visit and excellent recommendations for restaurants - there are two in Coniolo which were both excellent. We also ate at the restaurant at Sacro Monte di Crea - a beautiful location not to be missed. Massimo can also make arrangements to suit any of your particular interests whether it be cycling where local cycle hire is available for both standard and electric bicycles or visits to local cheese producers or local wine producers… In fact, just explain your interests and Massimo will come up with a plan for you. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and leisurely with a wide choice of both savoury and sweet local products. The rooms were very well decorated and you can clearly see how much care has been taken in making sure that everything is just right for your stay. The name of the house, Döit, is also a play on words as you could read it as ‘Do It’, If you want to visit the area, I would really recommend that you do exactly that - Do it. Leave the big hotels aside and come and stay at Döit in Coniolo.

Great location, 10 minutes from Casale and Vignale. The village of Terrugia where the hotel is located is quite nice as well.
