We arrived by train at a beautiful but mostly abandoned train station (unfortunate because it is a beauty!!) Town is on a surfboard-shaped plateau with beautiful bridges that access it by car or train. I did a walk around the whole plateau and was awe-struck by the beautiful old buildings and surrounding valleys. Plenty of coffee shops and cafes/restaurants if you don't want to eat at your hotel. So glad to have made the overnight stop here on our way from Turin to Menton by train.Guest review byLelandCanada - 10.0

The place is packed with history walking through main street put you back in time. Explore the little side streets and having a hard time to decide where to have lunch or dinner. The weekly street market is something you don't want to miss. In short ; a city not very well known, but you don't want to miss. Cuneo is a lovely town with a bit of an 'old' feeling but many good shops and restaurants available. The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay, but one can eat there deliciously (we know from previous visits). The reception staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.
