Nice place to stay on a road trip around Basilicata. It is the floor part of a house from the old quarter of Garaguso, set on a narrow street. I had a Fiat Panda and I was able to get right to the building and to park it, but a bigger car should be parked in the central square, 200 m away. The property was clean and it had all the necessary amenities, it looks far better then in the photos, it is a real house, not the standard "set" for appartment rentals. The teracce is indeed impressive, with view to the valley and the country side hills. The owner, Amelia, lives next door and she is very nice and helpfull.

Lisa and Pietro are amazing hosts, the apartment is comfortable, beautiful, spacious and extremely clean. They take care of every little detail! It was so nice to spend an evening on the terrace - the vista is incredible! You can watch the cute donkey across the valley and even eagles flying by! The town is also really nice to visit. If you’re passing by Basilicata, it is worth stopping by in Garaguso just to stay at this place. Also, Lisa and Pietro make super tasty focaccia’s at their bakery in town - don’t miss out!

My room had a beautiful view on the landscape towards the south. The restaurant offers delicious food. Unfortunately I only stayed one night. It is an excellent place to explore the surrounding region.

The hotel was recently refurbished, rooms were lovely, well designed with a contemporary touch, all very functional and super comfortable. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in this beautiful village.

The outdoor setting is spectacular. The apartment is smaller but very modern and functional. The breakfast supplies ( milk, juice, pastries, etc) were very generous.

We were greeted by owner once they had helped us find the parking space which was incredibly helpful. He was lovely and took us to the amazing apartment which is central in the village, so so clean and well equipped with everything you’d need. Very spacious, stocked up with breakfast foods (they also made us a cake!) and medical supplies. The apartment is very modern and is in prime location with the most amazing view from the bedroom. Although the town itself is very small, in the three days we were there we tried all the restaurants and the bar and all were amazing, highlight is the pizzeria! There is also some amazing hikes to the next village, flight of the angels (for those who dare!) and amazing views wherever you go. Thank you so much for having us, an unforgettable trip.
