Amazing place to stay to escape crounds. We stayed for one night, but I would recommend few nights. The house is surrounded by fealds and vineyards. There were just one other family and us, so it was very peaceful and quiet. We decided to have dinner there for 25€ extra per person. Best decision ever! The chef prepered fresh food only for us. We had 5 amazing appetizers and 1 main dish with a bottle of wine. You can’t choose what would you like to eat, so it’s a surprise based on what fresh ingredients are ripe in the garden.

Luca and his sisters operate an exceptional agriturismo with spacious and clean rooms, a delicious dining experience and beautiful grounds. Our stay at Baglio Cara was during the Nov. 1 holiday in Sicily and we were able to join other guests and many locals for a fantastic holiday lunch. The food for the Nov. 1 holiday lunch, breakfast and dinners was all homemade using local ingredients including some from their own farm. The family and staff were all warm and welcoming and Luca provided guests with a tower of their olive trees where we could see the olives being harvested.

We stayed at Relais del Sole for 6 nights and honestly loved everything about it. The house is beautiful, the pool area is perfect for relaxing, and everything was really clean and well kept. Breakfast was great too, not just sweet, but also savory options, which we appreciated. The whole place has a very calm vibe, and it's just a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It’s also close to lots of great places to explore, like Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, and the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Palermo and Segesta are also not far. Please note that having a car is a must to get around in the area. The host was super helpful and always quick to respond whenever we needed anything. All in all, it was a nice stay. We'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in Sicily.
