Owner was the most welcoming funny old Italian guy that would do anything for you. Dinner in their restaurant under the grape vines was hands down the best Italian we’ve had. Mushroom pasta 🤤 breakfast with a real chef cooking and a sweet breakfast lady who made us fresh squeezed orange juice and the owner getting me lactose free milk. Room was luxurious airconditioning, tv (with Netflix), wine fridge etc We found a real gem hidden behind a big grocery store. We decided to stay another night and rest and relax. It was booked and the owner worked things out for us to stay. Short little drive to beautiful See (lake) that wasn’t crowded with tourists. Sooo much better than googles Top 10.

This place Wass exceptional. Wonderfully kind and hospitable welcome and care during my time here. The hostel is clean, light, bright and comfortable, with a little waterfall outside my window ! The hostel has a very warm feel and perhaps because of its remoteness and common area in the kitchen set up maintains a very community based feel. I would highly recommend as a base if you are wanting to go into the Dollarmites. The only thing is you would be much better off having a vehicle !

We were here for Circleland.

We were here for Circleland. People were really friendly and very helpful. The views are absolutely stunning and there are loads of lovely restaurants and Cafes, as well as the supermarket and independent shops. We didn’t get much of a chance to explore the area, but there were lots of walks that were recommended. It felt like a very safe and welcoming place. We got to places quickly but had to climb a lot of stairs! This kept us fit, so we could enjoy the Tirolese influenced food at La Taverna Gufo. ( The Owl Tavern). There’s a real owl in the wood carving shop, that has its own Facebook page. The gelato is the best.

Really interesting town with an interesting history to it.

Really interesting town with an interesting history to it. Great views as your are in the middle of the Dolomites. Quite a few nice looking restaurants and there is a great gelato shop in the centre! Great place to visit and to explore the immediate area.

Very clean Central Well equipped with coffee machine and thoughtful snacks provided. If you’re in a stop over in Longarone it’s absolutely perfect with the most perfect gelato shops/ cafe within metres.
