Lovely! The room was spacious, comfortable bed, super clean, the view from the balcony was great, all the details were well thought (beach towels, umbrella and chairs for the beach) and the breakfast was tasty and complete. The staff was very kind and helpful. We would stay here anytime!

Beautiful and charming hotel situated in the old town. Amazing main building where we stayed and enjoyed every minute. The suite was so deliciated furnished bringing elegance and rustic together and we also had a nice terrace / balcony with the view towards the old church. Can also highly recommend the beach ckub just a few minutes away with the charming city train. In addition the rooftop restaurant was fabulous all together. The staff is so friendly and helpful always with a smile to welcome you. Breakfast was the best. Would definitively come back if the opportunity is there

Absolutely loved Orosei- such a beautiful town with plenty...

Absolutely loved Orosei- such a beautiful town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Lots of locals around so didn’t feel overly touristy. Within half an hour of loads of stunning beaches but Orosei beach itself is pretty good anyway. Great base for exploring the local area. We would highly recommend Pizzeria Orion for amazing pizzas!

The town is unique and very interesting.

The town is unique and very interesting. It is the right size for our interests - not too big, but big enough for a variety of restaurants and shops. Easy access to the beach and tourist attractions if you have a car.

Loved the unique feel not your typical hotel stay. All the amenities needed. Delicious food at the restaurant(make a reservation) and fresh made breakfast Italian style included. Very peaceful property and lively hosts

The beach was long and plentiful.

The beach was long and plentiful. A fine shingle with a gentle slope into the sea. It was almost empty when we were there in peak season. The parking was free. Unfortunately, It was very windy when we were there so all boat trips were cancelled. Which was a shame because the coastline is best viewed from the sea. However the gentle slope of the beach sheltered us enough from the wind for a relaxing sunbathe. The restaurants were busy. So do some research and plan ahead and book in the morning for the night otherwise you might be walking around for a while queuing and waiting whilst you are hungry.

More rugged than the North, but with the most beautiful beaches and nature in the area. If I return to Sardinia I will spend all my time in the area of Orosei. The city itself is small but have nice restaurants.

This was the final place of six that we stayed on the island and it rated number one for us. We really loved the character and feel of this quaint old hotel. We had a nice view across the rooftops and a clean and tidy room. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard area was excellent with plenty of choice and the best hot chocolate we'd had in Sardinia. All the staff were attentive and seemed genuinely interested in their customers, asking how their day had been etc. My special request was fulfilled perfectly, many thanks!

Really nice room in the old building close to the city centre (5 min walk). Hosts were amazing, always ready to help us, shared a lot of recommendations ahead. We had first room from the street, super clean, quiet during the night, big and not humid how it often happens in older buildings. Parking was close to the location. But the highlight for us was breakfast. Eggs, really nice ham and cheese or sweet options available. It was the best Italian breakfast we had during our stay in Sardinia.

We received a warm welcome from the reception. The hotel is relatively modern with nice inside and outside dining areas. We only had the breakfast, but that was more than adequate with hot food available as well. It's worth paying the extra for a sea view room, which also has a spacious balcony. Car parking was excellent and the location was great with only a 5 mins walk into town. This was the best hotel of the four we stayed in Sardinia and would certainly recommend.

Great location. Orosei in itself was the best place we stayed at in Sardinia, and the location of Rifugio was ideal, in very walkable distance to the lovely town center of Orosei and on way to the beach. Also great place to start a morning run from :-). The hosts were very nice and the flat comfortable and spacious. Perfect parking arrangements too. We would certainly go back!
