This property was immaculate, the grounds were stunning and so well looked after. The Italian country charm was enchanting, from lavender gardens, winding stone paths and whitewashed buildings. The property features only 22 apartments and you barely cross paths with other guests. Set just out of town from Polignana a Mare which was in hindsight the best choice, Polignana a Mare was so busy with tourists event though it was October, staying outside of town was a relaxing escape from tourist hotspots .

this is the best Hotel as the location in the town. the other Hotels are in the city, or just overlooking the sea. but in this Hotel you watch the old city as a painting. if you reserved a room with a view you can spend most of your time in the balcony. Polignano a Mare is a stunning place.

Polignano a Mare is a stunning place. Not too far on the train from the city of Bari. If you like a quieter town in the off season, this is the place for you. It has stunning costal views and great places to eat. Definitely put it on your bucket list even if you only have a few hours to spare. I have based myself here for 5 days without a car and have been able to see many places from here, Bari, Monopoli, Alberello, Locorotondo to name a few.

Great place for exploring, looking at craft shops and stopping to eat/drink in the street cafes . Very picturesque. Lovely little coves nearby if you have a car. Town beach is pretty but but busy.

We were based in Polignano since it’s closer to Alberobello, Ostuni and Locorotondo, which we visited. For my mother, who uses a walker, 3-4 days were just right, but the rest of us could stay and explore Puglia towns for longer. Polignano’s streets are beautiful,with lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Beach and bridge are spectacular and a bit windy in October.

Polignano a Mare is very much a tourist destination with lots of people packed into a small centre. It is worth a visit but perhaps not an extended stay when there are so many other (more interesting) places to visit in Puglia.

Stunning cliffside town with a vibrant vacation scene.

Stunning cliffside town with a vibrant vacation scene. Dramatic beach set between the cliffs. Beautiful pedestrian-only streets filled with wonderful restaurants and shops. Many boat tour options to explore the caves and enjoy the spectacular coastline. Excellent base for touring many amazing towns such as nearby Gallipoli, Conversano, Alberobellow, Locorotundo and Trani.

Very safe Array of different beaches within reasonable walk mostly shingle but some nice sandy ones further out Easy access by train from Bari and likewise handy for visiting Monopoli Locanda Porto Picc was best restaurant we visited

Absolutely perfect location for a quick stop in BEAUTIFUL Polignano a Mare!! We arrived late (past 9pm) due to a delayed flight and this was no bother at all for our host who we communicated with easily via watsapp. We were a few yards from main bars and restaurants and just a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach… we recommend a morning swim while the beach is quiet! We were a little worried about parking but managed easily to find a space just outside the apartment! Thank you!

A little too far out of Polignano a Mare. It was a 5 min drive in and paid parking was very reasonably priced for the day with an easy walk to the beach/old town. However, I prefer to be closer in. The hotel did say on its website that they have functions and they can be noisy at night-this is very true! Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast - good

The homemade breakfast was amazing. It truly was our best breakfast we had in our 3 weeks in Italy, and we traveled through multiple cities. The family who runs the hotel is fantastic and so kind. Also, the view? You can’t beat it. The sea view room and the rooftop breakfast were the best parts of this, besides the amazing location to the beach!

Very good accommodation near historical center of Polignano a Mare, one of the most beautiful little towns in Piglia. Good apartment, good facilities, extremely dedicated host who provide us all the care and information we needed, even we spent here only a night in transit from Salento to Bari.
