Great staff: welcoming, carefull, dedicated. Charming typical isolated parcelling. Beautifull. Quiet in the hinterland. Classy sober, the place is restfull. Quality food (special mention for great buffet breakfast. Just not the scramble eggs..like any other hotel) Catering team top service!! SPA is efficient. It was very comfy and clean. The location was perfect with Lama monachile, trains, historic centre and everything else. Also the host provided a short guide on how to spend the day in polignano(places to visit, restaurants etc…) which was a very unique and helpful idea.

    Very safe Array of different beaches within reasonable walk mostly shingle but some nice sandy ones further out Easy access by train from Bari and likewise handy for visiting Monopoli Locanda Porto Picc was best restaurant we visited

    We enjoyed the beaches, food and beautiful views of the water. The people are warm and friendly. Polignano a Mare was recommended to us during our travel in Italy and we changed our itinerary to get there. It was the best decision we made! Highly recommended!

    This is a stunningly beautiful place to visit and great...

    This is a stunningly beautiful place to visit and great location to base yourself at. Polignano a Mare is a must see, and from here you can easily visit other areas. We stayed at the beautiful Santo Stefano Bed n Breakfast in the old town. Monopoli and Alberobello are must sees, but don't miss Martina Franca and the drive in the area for the trellis.

    Nice little town, youthful. Lively in the evening. Is not far from Bari airport, you can use also the train. There are many places for eating with good recomandations. People in general goes to the sea in the morning and some until late afternoon. You can visit old town, other beaches near. You can visit also Alberobello and Matera, this are also not far.

    A beautiful area, lovely setting with the caves and the lovely colour of the water below the cliffs. Boat trips ongoing all day accessing the caves most days. Easily walkable and restaurants not far away. Lots of work going on - possibly reinforcing car park area near the apartment. Lovely roof top restaurant in same street, outdoor trattoria a couple of hundred feet away. Habitat Coffee Shop was a delightful find and not far from the grocery shop. Pretty old town area and access to the newer town - shade and benches were much needed in the heat. Tuktuk tour interesting and gave one more idea of distances to places.

    Polignano a Mare is a lively little historic town, so quaint and friendly with narrow streets and nice little shops all carved into caves in the old town. The best time to go is when the RedBull Cliff diving competition is on each summer! The atmosphere is electric and the diving is amazing to watch. There isn't a huge amount to do there aside from eating out, pottering around the shops and taking a boat trip to the caves so a few days is plenty but well worth a visit. Trains are so cheap so you can easily visit other nearby towns like Bari or Monopoli.

    Antico Mondo offers a 5* experience for exceptional value. Manuel, the manager offers an amazing, personal concirege service. He checked in every breakfast over an espresso, to ask if we needed any help booing hotels or recommending activities in the area. The location is amazing. Our terrace overlooked the famous roman bridge with an entrance right next to the famous beach. Breakfast is fab, with really great coffee (v important in Italy). Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels also!

    The hotel was absolutely amazing, the closest beach was only 3 minutes away, and you could reach the city centre with a 15-minute walk. The hosts were really kind and helpful, they gave us recommendations where to eat, what to see in Polignano or in the nearest cities. There was a wide selection at breakfast, which was a great start to our day. We definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful city of Polignano.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, just a short walk from Polignano’s beautiful city centre, with lots of great restaurants, shops, and even a theatre nearby. Andrea, the host, was incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive to every detail—he really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Easily the best value for money we found in Polignano a Mare. Highly recommended!

    Everything was great staff very helpful great with restaurant booking and suggestions always happy to help you in any way, great hotel so peaceful and quiet. We were worried about the walk into town but found it ok and walked there and back every day. Breakfast so tasty and fresh will be hoping to return some day as polignano a mare is up there with one of the nicest places I have been in Italy stunning!

    Beautiful hotel with friendly staff in quiet area near Polignano A Mare. Like the fact the room had a huge balcony. Breakfast was good for Italian standards, but nothing special. Loved the swimming pool area and the convenience of having a pool bar and restaurant where to eat.
