The hotel has everything you need. The room is cleaned every day. We had a good view in our room - Vesuvius and the sea. There is always the opportunity to order food in your room (minibar). In addition to the minibar, the hotel has a separate restaurant. The breakfasts, as promised, are very tasty and free. The pool is very clean, but keep in mind that it's open until 18:00 and until mid-October. It's nice to swim on hot days if you're too lazy to look for and get to the nearest good beach (or maybe you just don’t want to swim in sea water). The staff there was always kind and helpful to us. Don’t be afraid to come to the reception and ask about anything that interests or concerns you. Perhaps they will tell you something you don’t know. At the reception you can ask for a driver who can take you to certain attractions. I'm not sure, but you may have to pay for it in some cases. In most cases, we got to the right place ourselves, but sometimes we used the services of a driver, which was free. Overall, thank you, we were pleased.

It was simply perfect. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very good quality towels. Everything new. Air-conditioning helped so much in this hot weather. Coffee machine available. The owners are very helpful and welcoming.

Apartment was spacious, everything was nice and clean. Our room had access to big terrace which was really lovely. Neighbourhood was quiet and had everything in walkable distance. Our host Monica helped us with everything at anytime, even parking our car next to the building was not a problem. Early check out was possible.

We stayed at Vesuviano Guest House for one night in July 2023. The apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable. It is situated in a good place near the town centre. You can park your car in a guarded car park near the apartment. The owner of the apartment speaks fluent English and she is ready to help at any time. We would recommend this apartment especially to families travelling with children that want to visit Mount Vesuvius and Napels.

Great location if you plan to visit Naples, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Train station to Naples is 15 minutes away, from where you can get to city center. Apartment was cosy and we even get to chose between larger and smaller room. We were offered a drive from the airport for a good price. Breakfast was included in the price and you can have traditional Napoletan breakfast and delicious coffee in the bar downstairs.

We liked it very much! Super cosy, clean ,quite little flat, with balcony viewing on beautiful garden where you can eat and drink wine in the evening. With the train it's very easy to reach Napoli and Pompei ,we had always luck with the free parking just by the house. The hostess is very friendly and helpful! Absolutely recommended!

It was close to a train line and it was easy to get to...

It was close to a train line and it was easy to get to Naples. Also the location was good as it was in the middle and we could go to Naples and to Amalfi coast, Pompeii from here with little problem. The traffic in Naples is chaos so it was good that we could get there by train and then use the metro from there.

Lots of small food cafeterias and various shops down the high street. Pizza, pasta is readily available. The sea is close where the fishing vessels are to be seen. Its a bustle free location to relax and situated within easy reach of the City and archaeological sites. It has two stations situated close to each other.

Portici itself is nothing much.

Portici itself is nothing much. As a place to stay just out of Naples, the hotel was lovely. Portici sn't great for visiting Naples itself daily due to the train service though, but then Naples centre probably only warrants 3 days. The local stations are Pietrarsa (modern trains but limited service), and Bellavista on the rather run down and crowded Circumvesuviana line. Travelling on the latter is not a pleasure, eg to Herculaneum or Pompeii, but that is an aspect of the public transport to such places rather than something arising from staying in Portici.

Loved walking around the streets and the local food. Could readily reach Erculano ruins on foot. The train stations were easily found and had good service. Trying to get local bus tickets was a disaster although due to poor Italian we were relying on Google Translate. Honestly didn't need it though, the tourist services/tours based at the train stations were excellent and good value

it’s a quiet and lovely place!

it’s a quiet and lovely place! 10 min. walk to port, beach and restaurant line. Railway takes you to Napoli ca 7,5 km, Sorrento ca 21 km. Portici Express bus takes to mount Vesuvio ca 10 km. Herculaneum preservation ca 1,2 km. We enjoyed also Orto Botanical Garden of Portici. Port area restaurants food and service was excellent.

Good location to stay by the sea in a quiet area with...

Good location to stay by the sea in a quiet area with parking and just in the "middle" btw Pompei, Vesuvio & Napoli center (you should visit Napoli underground, a very interesting tour). We also had the best Pizza in Italy in Portici :) We also visited the Amalfi coast (traveling with our car) and had really great time in Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano. We were traveling in February, weather was great and roads quite empty and was easy to get a place in restaurants. I can not imagine conjunction on these roads during summer... and I can not imagine where you park during the season, since already in February, this was almost mission impossible.

Great place, very clean, modern and stylish. Staff were very friendly from the restaurant, to the reception and even the car park porter. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. Food was good and breakfast buffet spot on. I would say that there isn't much more than this hotel needs to do to be 5 star. Great location to explore Napoli, Pompeii and Sorrento all within a half hour to 1 hour drive. We had a car but the train links in the area are good. The train passes through the hotel.

The pool was pleasant, we booked the hotel by accident thinking it was in Naples, the town itself was isolated and not very appealing, however the people in the shops were friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was a little run down, poor air conditioning and fridge barley worked, bed terrible- breakfast was pleasant and good vibe with music around poolside, drinks expensive

The room is really as described, with a nice private pool and very confortable. The location is nice, not that far from Portici train station and with some restaurants nearby. A supermarket is also 1 minutes away from the door. There was some snacks included too. Team in charge of the accommodation is kind and responsive.

Portici is a good spot to stay near Neaples. You can visit Herculaneum on foot and it has same great restaurants near by. We just slept in apartament - did not use kitchen but it seems that it can be done easily. Where is a table in front of property - you could enjoy coffee or sodas in there. The owner is so sweet!!!
