The hotel was perfect in every aspect. Is located right in the middle of an old citadel so driving towards it gets you through the Imperial Gate (Porta Imperiale), and the building is from 1700's so is an historically protected building. Rooms were equipped with AC so returning to a 20 something degrees room after a full day in the heat was amazing. Hotel seems to have been recently renovated so everything felt fresh and clean. The restaurant served a consistent variety of Italian dishes (some with different names then expected) and at least the ones we tried were top quality. Staff was really friendly and helpful and constantly tried to make our stay there more than comfortable. I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to spend some quiet days in Lombardy.

I recently stayed at B&B da NINAand had an amazing experience from start to finish. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. They even arranged an early morning breakfast for me, which was incredibly convenient as I had to leave early. The location is perfect, making it easy to reach both the city center and nearby restaurants. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

Disappointment: on Saturday afternoon, the city was empty, and all the facilities worth visiting were closed. The ramparts along the walls were beautiful. Otherwise, there was very little to see. The hotel reception didn't know when the various restaurants were open. If it was a FAI day, unfortunately, there was NO notice indicating this! DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

A town rich in history and vestiges of the past. It deserves greater attention to safeguarding its art treasures. The historic center is very compact and easily explored in a few hours.

Sabbioneta is a historic village; the Gallery of the Ancients, the Ducal Palace, and the theater are all worth a visit. However, it's not possible to walk around the walls. There are some good restaurants, and otherwise, it's a somewhat isolated village in the middle of the countryside.

The town is very beautiful but, as I have already written, we were unable to see what had been described to me as the main attraction of the town, which is the view of the Gallery of the Ancients (about a hundred metres long), because someone has filled it with large panels containing paintings of questionable taste and rather obscene.

An amazing town with poor transport links, especially on...

An amazing town with poor transport links, especially on Sundays. The rest of the week it's great. Thankfully, the kindness of the locals more than makes up for it, and they help you by taking you to the nearest train station. I can't thank the person who helped me get out of town on Sunday enough. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Sabbioneta is a charming village with a lovely arcade and several restaurants. This is necessary, as the restaurant at Villa Cantoni Marca was closed, despite Booking.com saying it would be open. The village has a beautiful hexagonal fortification wall.
