Riding the steep hill and standing in front of this giant Villa is such an amazing start of a holiday we will remember forever. We were really late and checked ourselves in with help of video's the amazingly professional and friendly receptionists send us. We had contact on Whats-App and she was so helpfull. The appartment was in style of the old Tuscan Villas we see in magazines and on film. We had a big patio, a full kitchen and livingroom, a separate bedroom with a big closet and a clean shower and bathroom. It;s totally Italian charm and we loved it. The view over the hills, the big garden filled with flowers, colourfull roses, herbs ans a pool with a view. We were so lucky that we found this gem. During our week stay the breakfast was fresh and sufficient, with good coffee and fresh bread. It is the perfect place to start your days of sightseeing the neighouring towns, drive trough the countryside and enjoy places like Pisa, Florence, Sienna and Lucca - amonf others. In the neighbourhood there are great (fanily) restaurants where you eat with locals. The family (as wel call them) were all so welcoming and nice, they gave great tips of places to visit and they really took care of us. We loved it! 5 stars.

As we entered, the place was immaculate. New, clean and tastefully decorated. There was a welcome hamper snacks and Chianti. The view from the balcony and the main room was to die for. Absolutely stunning - green rolling hills with vineyard and olive trees mixed with conifer trees. The birdsong was so peaceful. Although it was 35 degrees outside, it was cool inside without the need for air conditioning. The master bedroom has an air conditioner and a beautifully view of the rolling hills through a door from the bed. The queen size bed is very comfortable. The second room has a comfortable double bed with wardrobe, small window and an air conditioner. The air conditioned living room has a sofa bed and is connected to the kitchen. The kitchen is spotless with plenty of cutlery and appliances. There is a small laundry room near the balcony entrance. The communication was prompt and extremely helpful. Check in was a breeze. Minor issue with the shower was fixed promptly. On Friday night and Saturday night, the road outside the accommodation transformed into outdoor table area for the restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and attentive hosts. The apartment is completely new, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. A truely well kept secret in the heart of Tuscany.

A truely well kept secret in the heart of Tuscany. Ethan’s Bar is across the road to this Airbnb. Great cocktails. Also a few steps out of the door are a variety of fabulous restaurants. There is also a good walk up to the two towers on the hill and easy access to the Via Francigena walk. Located on the ground floor of the Tower di Frederico - is a Michelin rest. And a very nice guy runs the Cycle rental / tour shop. Love this village.

Fabulous restaurants! All rather small, so would book. Very quiet old town with wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside. Perfectly situated for visiting Pisa and Florence by train. Would recommend a wine tasting locally at Beconcini.

We just can’t say enough about the town San Miniato and our hosts. Silvia was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make our first time here magical. The view and sound are from any painting that you’d wish you could jump into. The apartment is clean, modern, functional and the VIEW!!! If you’re lucky enough to come here you’d wish to never leave. Thanks! A highlight!

It was last minute booking on our way to Tuscany province from Rome but absolutely pleased with the service specially staffs were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again next time when we visit around 🥰 beautiful views specially sunsets 🫶🏼

La Mansarda is light, spacious and airy , with a fabulous view of the town and surrounding countryside. It was a great pleasure to stay here. Thoughtfully and well equipped with everything you need. Spotlessly clean. Tiny but charming balcony. Filippo was very kind and welcoming. The location is marvellous - very central and a short walk to the restaurants, bars, historic sights and free car park of San Miniato. We felt so lucky to have chosen this lovely apartment.
