Set in beautiful Tuscan countryside right in the middle of olive picking season. Quiet with stunning scenery all around. Welcomed by Camilleri and he was aware my stay was to be nearest to previous location re: my missing cat Milo. Had the offer to stay longer if needed. Room was spacious very clean and comfortable. Soaps provided etc. Great shower!!

Breakfast was over the top, fresh fruit, assorted nuts, eggs different ways, meats, breads, toast, jams, a selection of coffees and teas, all a delight to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts Renza and Gherado were extremely helpful, their advice was generous and practical. Their knowledge of the region invaluable, restaurants, sights to see and much more. They made our stay very special.

We were fascinated by friendly acceptance and care from the host. Laura reacted immediately on our small problems during the stay. The location of the apartment is exceptional, with the perfect view on the mountains and olive grooves. We stayed in the apartment for three weeks and found it quite comfortable. There is a good transport connection to Florence. Attitude from the local people of the community was absolutely positive, we really felt ourself at home.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautifully renovated mansion. The photos just don;t do it justice! The spaces and decor are truly splendid and elegant, with a soft touch of coziness. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room just right and the bathroom spacious, with a large shower (bigger than usual). We really enjoyed the breakfast served by the owner, with high-quality products and very good Italian coffee. We are also grateful for the parking space provided inside the gated yard. We would come back during a more warmer time, to try the enticing swimming pool or, at least, the outside chairs.

The owner, Valentina, her family and colleagues went out of their way to make our stay superb. The setting of the hotel was beautiful with a lovely terrace overlooking the countryside, our room was very nicely decorated and everyone was so friendly. They have gone to so much effort to only use locally grow food, beautifully prepared. We had a 5 star supper there, thank you Valentina!

The location was outstanding - with amazing views down to the Sieve valley. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable and the facilities were great - particularly the pool which was needed as it was so hot during our stay. The thing that made this stay remarkable was the amazing restaurant on site - the staff were so lovely and the food was fantastic; breathtaking views made it a very special experience.

I couldn't have wished for a better place to end my vacation in Tuscany. Francesco and his family's hospitality was exceptional, and the accommodation itself was simply wonderful. I received tips for restaurants and cafés in Pontassieve, as well as recommendations to take the train to Florence instead of driving my rental car, and I was even allowed to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden. Thank you again for everything.
