Peaceful yet close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and lovely decor. I was even given a bottle of Prosecco on arrival that I gave to the lovely Daniela who had to help me with my far too heavy luggage. No such generosity in much more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in where the service was also impersonal. London particularly

Sorrento is very picturesque and lively. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars, plus lots of lanes crammed with small shops. The town is ideally placed to get the train to Pompeii and for boat trips to Capri.

If you only have a few days, you should stay in Amalfi, or Positano or Capri, etc. Sorrento is nice but not as special. If you have many days then stay in Sorrento and do day trips. Sorrento is easier to navigate than say Capri because it's larger, but Capri is beautiful

First time in Sorrento and always been on my list. Great place to explore Italian coast. Boat trips to Capri and Positano excellent. Train to Pompeii for tour was excellent. Love the town of Sorrento, busy and lots of tourists but somehow feels leisurely. People polite and restaurants excellent and good value with a range catering from budget to expensive, but all value for money. Loved it!

Sorrento is very easy to navigate, as there is one main tourist street right through the middle, with lots of other, smaller side streets leading off it to explore. Half way down this street is the main Piasso Tasso, the main square. At one end are both the bus and train station, where you can travel on to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi etc. without having to be fleeced by the tour companies. It's much more fun to do as the locals would! The two ports - Marina Piccolo and Marina grande - everything is within easy walking distance, but some steep clicks to climb coming back up, as you would expect in this rugged, stunning coastline. If you don't like crowds, bizz and bustle of tourist towns, then Sorrento isn't for you and it's more pricey than in UK for drinks and food. But there are some really lovely restaurants, artisan shops and quieter areas available if you care to look. And it's a great central spot for the biggies, such as Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri, Positano and Amalfi, to name but a few iconic locations - all with the Italian suave and delicate shades that we know and love. Just a pity we tourists have to spoil them!

It was crowded , wall to wall , especially in the piazza and shops along . Ferries were crowded , interesting way of getting on , more like a scramble . Hard to find places as not very well sign posted eg the stairs to Marina and up again . Wherever you are going for a day trip from here go very early , eg Pompeii, Capri , Go to Anacapri instead it’s much nicer and good luck getting back down to Capri ! Ferry to Amalfi , Amalfi was absolutely crowded , the Church tour was great though . Positano had a nicer feel . The Eav trains to Sorrento were an interesting experience , although there were no problems to and from , phew, as I had read lots bad reviews was a real effort though , good to see Sorrento , though not sure I would have gone .

Anna was an amazing host. She was waiting for us outside the property to receive us, help with luggage and provide all necessary details. This was one of the best places I stayed at during my trip to Italy, and I stayed in plenty of hotels. Room was clean and always smelled good, something that I personally value a lot. Location was right in the center of Sorrento but away from the noise and business of the town. Pictures don’t do justice to how pretty rooms ares. If I go back to Sorrento I would definitely stay at Casa di Napoli again.

The farm is a few km outside of Sorrento, but Francesco and Lia are SO accommodating and bring you to and from Sorrento with a smile. The views from our balcony were incredible. The room has air conditioning and is very comfortable. As Francesco and Anna will tell you, 95% of what you eat while on the farm, is made ON the farm. And it is VERY GOOD. We enjoyed wine and antipasto on a couple of nights, and it was very very good. Anna was a WONDERFUL hostess:)The nicest pizza I've ever had.... And the BEST Limoncella in Italy!!! :)

Clean, bright, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, Sky Tv. The location was ideal being right on the harbour front and only a 10 to 15 minute walk into Sorrento Centre. The view from the balcony of the harbour, Naples and Mount Vesuvius was was amazing. Our host helped with booking trips along the Amalfi Coast, suggesting of where to go, what to see and good restaurants to eat at. All in all a wonderful 4 nights spent in a beautiful part of Italy.
