We were trekking in the Dolmites and slept in the hostel when changing places. I was really surprised by the conditions in the hostel. It was really clean, the rooms were wide enough, guests there were polite enough and keeping silence, as needed in shared spaces. The bathrooms were large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant - delicious! Nothing more you need! I would return again! Recommend it!

The breakfast was simple but sufficient. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel as it feels like a boutique hotel and the word Chalet suits the place very well. The staff is fantastic en very helpfull! Leonardo, the chef, gave us such great info about some walks that we could do and where to have lunch afterwards. His suggestion to eat at Agritur Broch was very much appreciated. In the evening there was also a light dinner at Giasenei itself, with a fresh saladbar and a dessert. We booked a junior suite and stayed there with our dog, the bathroom is spacious and also the room was big enough for the 3 of us. Yoda's dogcushion fitted well. We also booked an hour of private SPA which has a fine sauna & wirlpool. We enjoyed having the whole space to ourself and we felt like 'reborn' afterwards. If you are looking for a place in a briliant landscape with stunning views on the Dolomite, where the staff has a smile on their face, the atmosphere is relaxed and your dog being around is not a problem, then this is the place to go!
