Very close to the beach, a few minutes. It is a beautiful beach, free and clean and a few meters away there is a private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds with a very nice terrace. You can eat hamburgers, crispy, coffee, beer, sodas. The hosts were very, very kind and the room clean. Breakfast a bit sweet for our taste. Croissant, muffin, yogurt with fruit (and sugar😬😬), but it was a nice vacation. We recommend the accommodation. A la carte restaurant is not very close, about 3,5 km, car nedeed. Mediteranea it's called, the food we liked very much😀Alternative for restaurants would be Agrigento, 14 km away. We liked the Valley of the Temples at night, Saturday is the extended program until 24 hours. Only for the Valley, not the gardens and the archaeological museum. It was also nice at the Turkish staircase, but you have to make a reservation on the website the day before to get in.

As soon as we arrived, we were treated so well. The staff are friendly. We were offered a room with a view over looking the temples. Dinner was excellent, and while we went for dinner, the room was cleaned. Staff are brilliant here.

This is special place. If you're self driving, negotiating the mesmerising twists and turns in the tight lanes is well worth the effort. The location puts you right in the middle of what we felt was real Sicily, and only 20 minutes away from the Valley of the Temples. The hotel room was excellent: large, clean, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. All members of staff were very helpful and provided great service. The breakfast was very good. The real treat for us was the restaurant evening meal. Wonderful service and food.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Very modern in a Medieval style village, well maintained and clean. The room was a good size & bed comfy. Breakfast had everything we needed and plus. Everyone on the staff went out of their way for us, so very friendly. The hotel owner even taxied us to the downtown dinner/show being played with the 'Valley of the Temples' as a backdrop! We left the hotel feeling part of the family. Thank you Alba Palace for your sincere Sicilian Hospitality. We want to come back.
