Lovely stay with Sue who seemed to know everybody and was a perfect host. Garden was from paradise with loads of birds, butterflies and toads (at night). We were lucky as it was not busy when we were there so quiet outdoor kitchen and beautifully kept shared bathroom. You must try Teresa’s jerk pork a few yards down the road - she was great fun whenever we visited her - she might be the heart of Brighton Beach! We stayed in February 2025.

Lovely apartment, garden area, nice balcony and amazing restaurant across the road - excellent view! Location was nice beacuse LTU Restaurant was great and Rick’s Cafe was very near. A bit far from 7Mile Beach area, you need to have a car or take a taxi to get there.

Really nice hotel, the place was supposedly full but you’d never know! Felt like we were the only guests there. V peaceful. Staff attentive, pool great (and empty!), only had a few meals in but they were v nice.

Beautiful and quiet with plenty to do and see nearby. Several dining options available in convenient walking distance. Penny and crew seemed to always be working to keep things in top shape. We were able to meet and spend some time with two other couples that were staying there. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Three years ago, before the pandemic, we spent 12 nights here at Roots and absolutely fell in love. We are now returning for another 10 nights. Roots is located on a wonderful beach, surrounded by beautiful green plants and the fantastic colors of the sea. The rooms are clean, the beach and garden are well-kept, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The whole Roots is family friendly and lovely, we love being here, we love the Jamaicans here. There is always music here 🙂 They organize great concerts in the evenings and do everything to make you feel good. The chef makes great food and is always friendly. Thanks for being here again! We will definitely be back! 5*+5*🤗

It’s located a short walking distance from a shopping area where resort guests can easily access food and clothing items, souvenirs and also banking services and a pharmacy. Staff is available to assist with crossing the busy road. There’s an on-site gift shop. Complimentary breakfast is available and served on the beach. Lunch and dinner are also available on the beach. Staff are friendly and accomodating. There’s an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and beach bar. Lounge chairs and beach towels are provided. Tours and water sports can be arranged through the front desk. The resort is located on the beach where additional hotel restaurants and bars are also along the glorious 7 mile beach.
