The staff were so helpful. Property is just a across JR Shinkansen station which makes it too convenient. And the best part is, we got a perfect view of Mt Fuji from our room. Definitely value for money.

Such a unique, stylish and beautiful hotel. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We were offered a tasty welcome drink. The nigh time bar was ace too. We stopped here on our way to Izu and it was a nice little surprise - perfect views of Mount Fuji and lots of yummy food located around. Highly recommended!

The sea shore was the great place to visit. The city doesn't seem to have many restaurants, especially around the hotel. There is a supermarket where I had lunch, cash only, credit card is not accepted.

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen.

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen. The fare is ¥5900 one way and travel time is nearly an hour. I stayed at Toyoko Inn which is 150 meters from the Shin Fuji station. There are lots of car rentals in the area but I was not able to get one as they only accept advance booking from their website. It took me 2 hours getting to and from the foot of Mt. Fuji, by bus and a 15 minute walk in the village to reach my destinations. Roads are quite narrow but they are common in Japan. Like most countryside places in Japan, Fuji is relatively clean, rich in nature, and lots of places to explore. My advice if you want to visit Fuji: 1. Travel by Shinkansen going to and from Fuji. 2. Rent a car so you can visit most of the attractions in and around Mt. Fuji. 3. Spend at leat 3-4 days in the area. 4. Bring cash with you always as most establishments are cash based. 5. Download Papago app on your phone so you can translate Japanese images, signs, etc if you're having difficulty understanding the language. That's it and enjoy your trip to Mt. Fuji.

Amazing hotel, a 10 minute taxi to the Shin Fuji station (yen 1400).but Very clean, nice and kind to guests, really helpful. The view from our room was amazing, see picture, we had a room facing the other direction and you have a lovely view the city lights and station. As a family we had a perfect stay and couldn't ask for anymore.

Location was fantastic (1 min walk from Shin-Fuji train and bus station). Room is very basic but spacious for 1 person. Hotel provided free breakfast which was quite tasty and filling. Pretty good value for money- would stay again if I was passing by the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
