I requested rooms nearby despite booking 2 rooms of different style. The hotel is very kind to help arrange. I can see from details they do it with heart and treat guests with respect. They offer help effectively. Totally enjoy the lounge at 18th floor too! The snack and drinks are nice.

The view and decoration for the room and hotel space are really amazing. The lobby and space for dining are beautiful. I believe the designer for the room tried to make the best room for clients, including the place for in-room Bluetooth audio, which is well calculated for sound reflection.

Everywhere was very well kept and clean esp the room. Tatami area in the room was brilliant, it was dust free. The staff were amazing and they were very friendly and helpful, they also prepared a birthday card for hubby’s bday. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of choices. Onsen was a big bonus esp the outdoor onsen. Access was mainly by car but we chose to stay outside the city so this doesn’t affect us. Carpark was huge and was free to use for those who board. I would love to come again.

We had the most fantastic stay at the Twelve Hotel - 100% best hotel room we've ever stayed in! The staff were super kind and helpful throughout and even gave us a surprise honeymoon cake 😁. The amenities are amazing, with your own sauna in the room and access to the drink fridges and snacks! The location is 10 mins from the airport and not in the centre but was easily manageable and the hotel even provided free shuttles to the airport which was then only a very short subway ride to the centre. Highly highly recommend!!!

Very nice and cosy hotel surrounded by vegetation. Each room has access to a balcony to relax on. Good location close to the station. The staff is very professional and always ready to help. I loved the flower fields and changing of the leaves' color in Nokonoshina Island. Enjoyed tremendously the hotel recommended sushi hall by the ferry terminal -- name was Hakata Toyo Ichi --- what a wonderfully wide selection of the freshest seafood and sashimi and sushi !! Go early as lines for lunch are quite long. But well worth it! We managed to watch a Sumo Wrestling match --we were fortunate to get tickets to that. And loved the excitement. All in all we enjoyed the food and the sites.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Fukuoka.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Fukuoka. It is a good location for day trips by train to other cities - Hiroshima or Nagasaki. During November the city hosts Sumo Wrestling tournament (check for dates). The transport system is very good and easy to use, also Fukuoka is on the Shinkansen route. There are lots of temples, shrines, good shopping, galleries, museums, tall tower, great restaurants or eateries - Korean influence in some food places. I found the people very helpful, you feel safe, I cannot speak Japanese, very few speak English ( I learned to love, google translate camera to read food items etc), which means not many tourists, so when you visit places it is not rammed with people. There is plenty to do in Fukuoka City and to see outside of the city. I need to return as I have not had time to explore outside the city. Go enjoy.

Quality of the food shopping court next to the station was exceptionally high. Great bakery and patisserie produced on site, terrific ready-made meals available in the supermarket-come-deli store. Great ambience around the station - when I was there live performances were laid on alongside the Christmas market. The commercial area is attractive - but that was about it! I didn't get to see the beach as it was 30 minutes away by bus and getting information was quite difficult. Most important signs are only in Korean making the city difficult to navigate. I would not return there myself as I didn't feel there was much to see.

The location of our hotel was four minutes away from the Hakata train station. There are many things to see and do there to keep you excited. The people were nice and I enjoyed the pace of the city.

Fukuoka is a great vacation location.

Fukuoka is a great vacation location. The pace is not as frantic as Tokyo or Osaka. It has its own character and charm. Nearby are day trips to other great locations like Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Takachiho, Saga City, etc. It is great for family as well. Locations like Lalaport and Canal City are attractions for mall strolling, shopping, and food. Food is great with the yatais and of course ramen.

Fukouoka is like a mini Tokyo without being overloaded with Tourists. It has great restaurants, bars and nightlife and the cultural quiet spots eg temples are superb set alongside very modern shopping and tech visits eg the Tower. It is also an ideal base for day trips which there are many to choose from and don't forget the beach. visit soon before everyone finds out its charm and attraction.

Very modern hotel and for a good price. The room was spacious for Japanese standards. I had space to properly place my trolley and as well in the bathroom for my toiletries. The breakfast had a lot of choice and offered as well continental style next to Asian. The location is in a very nice area close to parks, offices, shops and very good restaurants around Tenjin. The subway line from Hakata Station was in front of the hotel and easily reached from the airport.

The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a train station 5 mins from the hotel which brings you to the other attractions within Fukuoka City. Tenjin underground shopping mall is only 5 mins walk from the hotel and from there, you can easily go to the other departmental stores. The room was big and clean and the bathroom facilities were complete.

Very nice spacious room, newly designed and refurbished bathrooms in line with high standards found in other new hotels in Japan. Very kind and skilled staff. Great restaurant. Very nice onsen with sauna and large tub. 2 tube stations away from Hakata. Overall a great base for day trips from Fukuoka and the possibility to eat in at night if tired.
