The location was great with great scenery. Ten minutes walk through snow trails to Happoone ski lift. Ten minutes walk to village for rentals & restaurants (Ooyokuri restaurant*****)! The staff was excellent and accommodating of late evening arrival. Inside & outside onsens were very good. Breakfast was great with selection & taste. Twelve (7adults, 1teen, 5children) give it a big thumbs up! It was end of season, so shops and restaurants were closed, snow was a bit slushy for me, good for kids. This is a fantastic ski resort. We love Goryu and Iimori. There are several options for skiers and snowboarders of different abilities. The ski school is excellent. It is not too busy, and there is little to no queue for ski lifts. We are coming back.Guest review byYi MienHong Kong - 10.0

We stayed near Iwatake Gondola and skied Iwatake, Tsugaike...
We stayed near Iwatake Gondola and skied Iwatake, Tsugaike and Cortina. My favorite of the 3 resorts was Tsugaike. The queues were relatively quiet and had more terrain. The Hakuba Valley shuttle will get you between all the resorts but it can get quite busy. ps. If you are staying in Iwatake and are travelling to Nagano with luggage (that you can manage easily) see if you can catch the direct bus rather than using the Hakuba Valley shuttle to get to the Happo Bus Terminal.Guest review byPeggy GAustralia

Restaurant and supermarket are all within 10mins walk. Ski rental Woody’s only 4mins. Private onsen was relaxing and cheaper compared to other places in Hakuba. Rooms are spacious & clean. Hotel offers free pick up and drop off from Hakuba train station. There is ski room to leave your skis and snow board free of charge & free parking. It was very close to the Happo One ski resort (walking distance) and many bars and restaurants. The hosts were very accomodating and ensured our stay was easy and enjoyable. If you want to take the gondola, it’s a bit further away, but the hotel staff are very nice and take you by car. Our room (207) was really nice, with a nice forest view.
