The property is spacious. We travelled with 3 adults and 3 children. We have a lot of space to relax. When we were there, there was a big earthquake in Niigata. Although the property was not within the warning zone, we checked the closest tsunamis shelter. It is just at the back of the property and it takes a 7 yro boy 48 secs to run to the shelter. There is a large supermarket for local people. We bought high-quality sashimi, A5 wagu beef and alcohol for dinner. There is an ocean-facing public Onsen in 2mins drive! It only costs you a few hundred yen for an adult and half price for a child. Don’t forget to grab the towels from the property when you go.

Cozy Japanese home stay. Very spacious rooms. All facilities are adequate. I needed a rinko bag and the host spent a lot of time making calls to help me find one. Thank you very much.

The hotel was quiet and clean. We had a comfortable room with lots of space. The view of the ocean and stars from the private bath on the balcony was very pleasant. We had an excellent meal prepared by the kitchen. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat mushrooms, so I contacted the hotel before our arrival to see if they could accommodate her. They took a great deal of care to prepare a varied selection of dishes for her. She really enjoyed the meal. My food was also delicious. The service was excellent too. The staff are attentive, helpful, and communicate well in English.

Lovely staff and hotel manager - went the extra mile to ensure my menu was in English and helped my luggage transfer too! Gave me an umbrella when it was raining! Best restaurant food! The onsen was great!

It’s exactly how you can imagine it. It’s a whole apartment above the garages from the owner. It was clean, comfortable and really cute. I felt really welcomed. The toilet was a bit funny but it worked perfectly fine. It’s so close to a beautiful beach! And for the price it’s so worth it, even though there is no shower in the apartment, but there are cleaning possibilities near.

Facilities in poor conditions (hygiene - electrical appliance - roof letting water dropping during rain). Lowest value for money paid. Unaware until confirmation (non refundable) was secured that host was using the garden facilities for rearing chicken and roosters - short nights (4:00 awaken by roosters...) Very disappointing and deceiving.
