The hotel is very close to the station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as it was a Japanese breakfast which allowed us to try new things.

Beautiful little house, very spacious for two people and good value. Our host Mizuho was extremely helpful with information, leaving us little surprise snacks and even driving us to Toyama station when we checked out. The house is 15-20 minutes way from the main cbd/Toyama Station, so you need to get a local bus if you don’t have a car. But there are helpful instructions at the property, and we found it a bit of an adventure to catch the bus. Also you get lovely views of the mountains when walking in the neighbourhood, which you don’t get in the cbd. Also recommend the Yakatori restaurant near the house. Cosy vibe and delicious food.

Very close to the JR station. Very polite reception staff. Very clean and tidy room. Room cleaning service is great. Have nespresso coffee machine and coffee capsule. Nice water provided.

The bathroom is spacious and bright. TV is pretty new. Location is perfect, close to the train station and lots of restaurants. Japanese style buffet breakfast is very nice and tasteful!

Liked that it is located just at the Dentetsu Station which is very helpful for traveller going for the Tateyama Apline Route. Surrounding are malls where we can get nice and famous Toyama delicacies. Room is not big but okay for 2 medium size luggages. The massage chair and coffee machine at the rest area, for guests, next to lobby is a plus. Breakfast was ok.

The hospitality presented by the reception staff is excellent. Buffet breakfast was good and tasty, and when we wanted to keep our luggage at the lobby for full 8 hours while waiting for our flight, they do so with a smile and without questions. Definately our next go to connecting hotel in Japan. Price is affordable for the services that you get. Location is very strategic, right smack in middle of town and 5 minutes walk to train station.

Dormy Inn offers the perfect example of a traditional Japanese-style business hotel - compact, efficient, and full of thoughtful details. The room is small but has everything you need: a spotless bathroom, electric kettle, washing machine and dryer access, and amazing Japanese-style pillows. The onsen is a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day, and the complimentary late-night ramen noodles are a lovely touch. I absolutely love this style of hotel, simple, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Just a one-minute walk from the congress center. Highly recommended!
