The room was big, even bigger than the picture, clean, and the bathroom was great with the heater. The guest facilities in the lobby were perfect; they served snacks and coffee/tea 24 hours a day. The staff was super nice and polite, and they helped us with the luggage transfer, too. The location is also great, near the bus stop, local restaurants and cool coffee shops and bakeries.

We loved the warm community space set up with games and books in the hotel lobby. The 24 hour lounge with food and coffee was icing on the cake. The complimentary refillable water bottles, bikes, umbrellas and coin laundry were great amenities to have.

The property has much bigger rooms than you find in Japanese hotels. It can easily fit a couple and both of them can open their suitcases comfortably. The room design is good. The hand wash area is separated from the bathing area/toilet. The property is located in a quiet area but a 5-6 minutes walk and you can reach Kawaramachi which is the main shopping area with loads of options to eat, shop. The temples are not far away from this place. Gion which is the Geisha district is just a kilometre walk. Staff is excellent and very very helpful. Whenever I’ll be back to Kyoto, for sure I’ll stay at this place.

Everything :) All staff were so friendly, informative and professional. Very fluent in English too which we really appreciate. I had a nice experience at the spa. Clean and spacious room. I loved the design of the hotel room, good mix of Japanese and modern style. The room was spacious and very comfortably furnished. At the reception you can use coffee machine, make tea etc - very convenient. The hotel has an excellent location, walking distance to most of the attractions and 3 min from the nearest bus stop. The reception staff is very kind and speaks very good English.
