The staff were very warm and welcoming and made sure we had the best rooms for our stay. The rooms were modern and clean. There is a nice little kitchen space on the first floor with free coffee and miso soup. There's also a nice deck to sit outside and enjoy a bit of nature.

Kanayama-san is a fantastic host who raised the bar high for guesthouses, I very much enjoyed my stay at 旅人の宿人. I came to 宿人 during winter, and the sighting around the house was magnificent. The Japanese-style room and its futon were great, even during the very cold night of Hokkaido's winter. It's a true rural experience and I'm sure it's also a perfect stay for summer.

Our recent stay at this new hotel was truly delightful. The hotel itself was beautiful, offering a very pleasant ambiance. Close to transfer to airport. Very easy to navigate even though we have not travelled to Japan before. Friendly staff, very clean and quite. Pillow library was fantastic we chose comfortable pillows and had a sound night's sleep. Restaurant right next door.
