The property was beautiful, cozy and peaceful. The bath and sauna was exceptional, as was the host Kazuo-san (and the rest of the staff)! We also really liked the bar attached to the hotel - Openbook Yama. It is a branch of a bar in Golden Gai - really cool addition to the property!

Loved our stay here! Rooms were spacious and super comfortable, and the ‘shared’ shower is actually a private shower room which you can select a time slot for so as not to not overlap with other guests. The shared lounge and kitchen space were also great, and the property just felt very relaxed. It was also super close to the bus station and there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the staff allowed me to get an early start on it, since I had to leave to catch a flight. Beautiful onsen with neighboring koi pond. Good location close to the middle of Nozawa and - remarkably - included a parking lot!
