The room was incredibly spacious and came with a wide range of facilities, including plenty of plates and cups, a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, a Dyson humidifier, a large refrigerator, and clothes hangers. The bathroom was also very spacious, making it perfect for a relaxing soak. The water is said to be from a hot spring. The parking lot is covered with small pebbles, and the surrounding area is very quiet, yet not too far from areas with more shops. There is no front desk, and everything is handled online. We contacted the staff through LINE, which was very convenient. （However, it’s crucial to check your email in a timely manner. Since we were busy traveling, we missed checking our email. Without completing the check-in process via email, you won’t be able to access your room upon arrival, as you won’t have the room number or the key code.）

Everything!! Breakfast was lovely, complimentary drinks in the reception were a nice added touch. The room was so spacious with very comfortable beds. Wonderful stay. It was perfect! We book japanese room in western style. It was spacious, with balcony and private bath tub. View was amazing, beds comfortable. Half-board breakfast&dinner - all perfect + free probiotic drink on the morning and ice cream on the evening! Staff was excellent! I would give 1000/10 to this hotel. Onsens and massage chairs - perfect as well.

We loved the cleverly renovated room in the half-ruined former ryokan building -- a very interesting concept. Self check-in was easy and we found the room to be as described and very comfortable. Nice to have water straight from the onsen to fill the bathtub. Great location in the heart of Shuzenji.
