We stayed for two nights and it was the best place we stayed at on our month long trip to Japan. as soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed and so well taken care of. the food was just beyond amazing, the building is so cool, the surrounding area is gorgeous, the staff is so personable, the sauna amazing, and we got to spend some time with the adorable rescue cats. this place is worth the trip out to Shikoku alone, but it's also very close to a lot of interesting places to see like the Iya valley vine bridge, Oboke gorge, a yokai museum, beautiful nature, onsens and more. we will most definitely be back :)

Beautiful place! We went kayaking with the host and lt was such a nice experience. We got picked up and dropped off at the station, so we didn't have to walk with our luggage. There's a kitchen so you can cook for yourself, which we appreciated after eating out for 2 weeks.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, amazing city and region in general ! Highly recommended for travelers around Shikoku, this is a great spot to stay and organize day trips in the Iya area. If you stay there, make sure to try the restaurant / cafe Heso Salon as well !
