Simply an outstanding experience, expecially when considering the very fair price. Incredibly friendly and warm service from all staff, who went the extra mile to accommodate us given my wife was pregnant during our stay and had additional dietary requirements. Superb food made from fresh local produce, which was explained to us in detail with the main dish prepared tableside! The staff even prepared our leftovers into delicious rice balls for us to eat the next day, so nothing went to waste despite the very generous portions. The chance to book the onsen to use privately was very welcome, and the bath itself was immaculately clean. If you are visiting Miyama or the local area, this simply must be on your list.

Every detail in the house, the host arrangement, and the Spanish breakfast was great and we were so well taken care of. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The place is so nicely decorated and you will take nice photos at any corner of the house, they provide some card games there and we had a great family time there. This is a place with love and I really love what the hosts arranged for us. Thank you once again :)

Beautiful setting, very kind hosts, comfortable. Meals were great and plenty. Three nights was a great idea, you get to relax and enjoy Japan at a different pace. Lots of walk in the countryside. We were very happy with our choice, off the beaten path, but very easy to get to.
