Narita area is exactly the entrance to Japan. You can experience a little bit of the old Japan in the town of Narita station as well as the big shopping malls. Besides, you also experience the rice fields' green and sounds of frogs in the late spring, of course, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in the beginning of April, with getting green bamboo trees. Having a mini convenience store in the hotel is also a great idea and very convenient! I tried out the gym in the morning and it wasn't very crowded and has your standard machines; it's definitely enough for a hotel gym.
