I liked that the house was right in the middle of community houses, which made me feel more connected to the old town. The breakfast that Arnold made was amazing and I really liked the vibe of the place. There were plenty of dining places nearby and all of the host's recommendation was 10 on 10.

Situated within 500 metres of Shela Beach and 200 metres of Mnarani House in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. The bed and breakfast features city views and a sun terrace.

Stunning Swahili architecture with a modern twist. Friendly and attentive staff. Afternoon coffee and cake on the rooftop was a highlight. Breakfast is delicious. Best hotel of our entire trip! And the rooftop ended up being one of our favourite places to be in Shella.

I loved my time at Shela Bliss. The owner was so kind, always available to help, organized fun activities every day, and made amazing breakfasts with fresh juices every morning. Felt like staying with a friend! I was really impressed by how clean and well-kept the place was. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all fresh and tidy-it made the stay so comfortable. Abdullah clearly takes pride in the place, and it shows! Would happily stay again.
