The moment we arrived , we were treated by professional and helpful staff .The room was magnificent and always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was good quality if food and the breakfast staff were very attentive and helpful .A really high standard of customer service from reception to the housekeeping, including the lovely security staff .We've already booked our next stay because of the excellent service and high standards of this hotel ..A really good example of teamwork .

It’s hard to find fault with this hotel. The staff could not be more friendly, efficient and attentive to your every need. The food was excellent with great variety and you really feel that you are valued and not just another guest. The staff really make you feel at home and very welcome. There is one main restaurant which serves a different buffet nightly which is excellent and one other restaurant on the beach so for those who like a large resort this might be on the small side. The rooms are spotlessly clean the only thing that could be improved upon are the bathrooms which need updating but were very clean with fresh towels daily. The beach is beautiful and the deck chair service is excellent, we found our towels on the chairs each morning ready for our arrival. Lunch is served on the lawn by the beach and the deck chair drink’s service is excellent. There is a newly installed Padel court which is fairly priced and easy to hire too. Everything about this hotel is charming from the immaculate grounds to the relaxed vibe. For anyone wanting a party hotel this is not for you as it is a quiet family style hotel but there is nightly entertainment from live music to acrobatic shows. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel.

The staff and in particular the animation team are very kind, helpful and nice. They helped us to arrange a visit to Haller Park. Every day you can try a different cuisine, the food is very tasty, I was very impressed. The view from the balcony with swimming pool and beach is great. In the evening you can enjoy interesting shows created by the animation team.

Always fun to be here. I will always come back many times over. Love the old town, the food and the mixed cultures. Full of spice, oriental and african and arabic such a cross roads. A city that is older than the country just pure beauty. Loved every second of it

Beautiful town,worth all the experience If you want a less quiet area visit Diani beach, its quiet, a lil bot rural but the best amd most of the attractions happen there..If you want a more busier place visit Mombasa city, more civilized..Overall I enjoyed Diani

The location of my apartment was the best.

The location of my apartment was the best. Distance to amenities like supermarket was good. The host was kind and responsive. The beach was awesome. Visited local restaurants at pirates with very good local food. Visited far away restaurant forodhani very good experience. I just have a problem with my kitchen 100%

Its an excellent good place, if only the road could be worked on quickly. Shanzi area must equally be developed at faster rate. We need a mall near Paradise Inn, the shops around aint good enuf

Mombasa is a very laid back city, theres plenty of water...

Mombasa is a very laid back city, theres plenty of water sports to do. The north and south are not well connected but you should find everything you need in each part of town you pick. We went to Shanzu beach and we loved it there, our friends went to Diani beach and they enjoyed it too. We loved planet yoghurt for their frozen yoghurt and also went to Char Chioma for a good vibe, dance and grilled meat. People are generally very kind so its easy to find your way around should you need help or local recommendations.

We were a small group of five, we particularly enjoyed the Tamarind Dhow experience, which I recommend for everyone! There's also lots of other options for when at the apartment. We arrived late but the manager Angie showed us a restaurant just next door by the beach where we had a nice meal, I had the seafood platter and it was good and fresh! Mombasa on the other hand can be hard to enjoy during the day especially because of the massive traffic jams and the bad driving, so moving around can be a bit hectic and draining.

Apartment was really nice and big with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very big kitchen with all facilities, two balconies. Julie was wonderful and very helpful host (Thank you Julie for everything), Very comfortable bed, nice decoration everywhere, Very clean although being in Kenya you have to be prepared, that leaving some food anywhere, brings the groups of ants. Good places for staying for longer time. Not very far from the beach, about 10-15 minutes walk.

Very well-located hotel with nice views and a pleasant breeze coming in from the river. While it's not on the main island of Mombasa itself, then it's one of the closest of the fancier "resorts", right next to the bridge. Fairly easy to get around, either to the old town or beaches, using the local taxies and tuk-tuks (apps like Bolt and Uber come in handy for this).

Great location with nice views over the creek and very handy for town. Very friendly, helpful staff and very clean. I have stayed in some more expensive hotels but this represents all round best value for money. Only missing ingredient is proximity to the beach. Not important to me personally but others may have different priorities.

Fantastic location on a cliff above the beach. Lovely selection at breakfast. Helpful diving centre. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Loved that it was not has busy and noisy as bigger resorts in Mombasa.
