Wonderfull place, nice and quiet, cozy room, all the amenities you need, nothing fancy og flashy but makes you feel at home. All staff is very kind, sweet and helpfull, and generously helped me with both early check-in and late check-out.. The pool area is set in a lovely garden, where you can easily spend days, if you don’t want to plunge in the ocean (or when it is low tide). Hope to come back.

An exceptional boutique hotel with massive air conditioned rooms, huge comfortable king bed, great showers, 2 salt water pools, good food and very few people. I loved my stay here and extended for 2 additional nights to soak it all in. I had a nice bright room. There is a wide balcony with a soft ottoman and a table - you can relax in the shade of climbing plants after lunch. The room was always clean, there is a mosquito net, a sofa, a refrigerator, a lot of drawers for personal belongings and 2 closets. It offers 3 swimming pools and 2 restaurants with delicious food. I had a full board, a restaurant on the veranda of the 2nd floor is something! You can eat while enjoying the beautiful view! Fresh pasta, fish and meat, vegetables and fruits. The staff is very friendly, everyone smiles and says hello!) Goes to meet, fulfilling requests. The hotel also has 5 animators who entertain guests every day - water polo in the pool, water aerobics, simple contests like hit a coin in a glass or knock down pins with a ball. No songs and dances, for those who are very shy). I was resting alone and people often came up to me just to entertain me with a conversation, they always asked if everything was fine with me. Every other day, various shows were held in the evening: the Masai and Giriamo tribes sang and danced. Acrobats performed. In a word, I didn't regret for a second that I chose Lily Palm!

The structure itself is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, making every moment of the stay truly comfortable. The entertainment is soft but very pleasant, never intrusive, and perfectly balanced for a relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Florence, a fantastic entertainer who brings joy with her energy and kindness. But our deepest appreciation goes to Anthony — an elegant, highly professional guide who speaks many languages and is always ready to help with calm, patience, and genuine care. Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats...

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats... lots of stalls to purchase things... good supermarkets on the main road if you are staying in a villa... due to the heavy Italian tourist presence, there are plenty of great eateries and restaurants... easy to get around on motorbike or tuk tuk... generally very safe compared to Nairobi.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast. It is not overpowering like other towns in North Coast. The people are very friendly and hospitable. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views at Litchaus and Crab Shack. The cultural tour to Waka Waka Island and seeing dolphins. However, it can be pricier than other places. I recommend going with an open mind and a spirit of fun. To get the most from Watamu, do not rush. I recommend spacing out your travel and allowing yourself to soak it all in. There's definitely so much to see and learn from the local community.

The people are quite friendly including cab divers. The beaches are wonderful. Not too much interference from the beach boys. The area is relatively quiet in the evenings. Good for a person who has relaxation in mind. My favourite beach was Gecko resort. It is easy to get around Watamu with Tuk Tuk or cabs.

A bit expensive as it's made for tourists, so expect European prices (5EUR one beer or 8EUR a cocktail). The beach is amazing, it's totally worth it :) However, try to be in a beach chair, as those are in private restaurants or hotels; that's the only way the beach boys are not going to annoy you all the time (and even there, they might try to talk to you or stare at you, but it's less likely). There's a club (Come back club) that we loved, as the atmosphere and music were great :)

A lovely location overlooking the beach and coral islands. A realatively small hotel, with approximately 30 rooms, ours was comfy, but not luxurious, and had a sea view which was nice, but given the lovely grounds with plenty of options to relax and enjoy the view not essential. A nice pool to cool off in when you got to hot. Food was excellent Italian style cuisine coupled with great cocktails and a long wine list (we didn't try the wines). Prices at the higher end by Kenyan standards, but cheaper than equivalent UK food.

The hotel was beautiful and set in a serene location surrounded by nature and a beautiful creek. All the staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs and special requests. The facilities at the hotel were great, a lovely pool, sufficient downtime areas and lots of activities to complete. Whilst the location was out of the way of Watamu, the staff made all of the accommodations to ensure we were well connected, including the regular boot across and arranging transportations whilst we were at the other side.

This place was very spacious, clean, safe and modern with a very beautiful interior and exterior. We used the amazing pool everyday. The beach is a short walk away and the main road is even closer with motorbike taxis or tuktuks always available to can take you anywhere further. A cleaner was arranged twice over our 4 night stay which was perfect, also with fresh sheets and towels. A security guard is there every night, who was also a very kind man. If we ever come back to Watamu, we will be staying here.

Thanks for hosting,the host was so welcoming, Great location You can see the sea view from the balcony which is a plus. Its 5mins walk to Acquarius beach And 10mins to Watamu beach. Good wifi speed,very clean and i liked it has 2 washrooms and 2bathhrooms,very massive dinning which is good for family I loved the watamu village view which is very beautifil. The host was very kind and allowed me for late checking in and also there is late check out as well. Would definately come back again.
