United KingdomStaying here was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Cambodia. We hadn’t been sure about coming but had wanted a taste of the countryside and we are so glad that we did come. The setting is rural and beautiful and there is lovely walking/cycling along quiet lanes, populated by occasional small houses, little farm holdings, with fields with cows in, and rice and growing. The homestay is run by Linda who was incredibly friendly and welcoming and speaks brilliant English and we could not have been better looked after. The food was out of this world delicious and plentiful and three meals were included in the price of the accommodation for one night so it was an incredible bargain, we thought. There is lots to do, such as looking at the local weaving initiative (which makes lovely scarves and tea towels, and generate money for older women and sending local children to universities.) The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the shower had lots of hot water. This place is really worth a visit!
