I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse in the South of Jeju Island! The property was incredibly cozy, making me feel right at home. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Choi, were absolutely lovely—so kind and helpful. They shared fascinating insights about the local history and surrounding areas, gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit based on the daily weather and season of the year, and helped with every little problem I had. Mr. Choi kindly showed me around, taking me to a local market, and assisting with my pickup and drop-off. Mrs. Choi was so thoughtful and even packed me a delicious 고구마 for my hike to Hallasan Mountain—it truly meant so much! It was also a delight to speak some Korean with them, though they speak and understand English pretty alright. The location is close to the beach, which is stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset. And the breakfast? Easily a ten out of ten— simple but delicious, traditional, and the perfect way to start the day! Overall, if you're looking to experience traditional local life in a peaceful, quiet area away from the city for one or more days, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!
