The hotel is in a vibrant though not touristy part of town. I chose the location as it was easy access to the airport. At first I wished I could have stayed closer to the beach front. However, the assistant manager, Ms. Cho, was so helpful in making me feel comfortable, that I enjoyed the location. She understood my wish to see a beach, and suggested that I may like Hamdeok Beach. She gave me perfect directions, as well as eatery recommendations. The beach-side Cafe Delmoondo was wonderful with delicious pastries! She also recommended other non-touristy eateries to try local specialties, such as gogi-guksu (noodle soup in delicious broth with generous pork); mackeral stew; bakeries. She gave me precise directions on how to find a destination. She was my go-to tour guide. She really made the stay extra special. While Hotel Leo is not on the beach it is an hour's bus ride to several beaches. Also the Yeha tour buses drop off at the hotel or nearby. The room itself was very spacious and elegant. The rooftop lounge was chic and served spirits as well as food. Overall a wonderful introduction to Jeju Island! :)

Very clean. Good interior. Even had a second sink few meters from the door actually on the opposite of the bathroom itself. Very close to Jeju city itself and it’s save to take the taxi from and to the airport. Approx cost for 7k-10k Won. Big towels available. We shortly had only small towels after the second cleaning but it worked out. Water bottles were provided for us for free. Very friendly concierge who also called a cab for us the very morning to get to the airport! We didn’t tried the gym and restaurants because food were plenty around the corner.

It is full of nature outside the city.

It is full of nature outside the city. Small population of about 670,000 so there is no crowds of people. The island has much to offer. We had not explored Seogwipo which some people we met in Jeju said it was a place they would go again. (Seogwipo). Depending on what each person likes, we wold go more for the nature and sights, food and culture.

Beaches and nature spots are soooo pretty!

Beaches and nature spots are soooo pretty! The public transport is good; however, the island is sooo big, so it's super recommended to renting a car. the food is awesome but a little bit expensive. Must to eat black pig and a lot of sashimi and abulone.

Booked a two day Jeju English Private Taxi Tour for five people. Walking trails, forest walks, waterfalls, lava caves, scenic coastline, beaches, volcanic craters, forest walks Haenyeo Museum, forest areas, tangarines! Thanks to our guide Terry it was a great experience.

Jeju is just amazing, people are just exceptional around, very cheerful and very loving to the baby. We loved every bit of jeju, the clear blue sky, the beaches, the infra, coffee shops, bakery. Literally everything. Jeju is so colourful. Whereever the eye rolls its filled with hues. The place has its own vibe. Must visit once in life

Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all.

Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all. We were a group of three between 29-33 years old. Great and diverse food, amazing nature, great hiking trails, amazing beaches, locals who are used to both domestic and foreign tourists (+-13.000.000 a year) and competitive ferry pricing with eg Hanil ferries which you can easily book from 30 bucks round trip. Book the third class and proceed to chill on deck and in the on board restaurant as the trip is a mere 2.5 hours. Jeju city has a lot to offer, but the city in the south is also great (Seogwepo). If you feel like dining at the beach there are a lot of niche options like beach club Vadada and born to be burger/pizza at the pool and football stadium. Summarized we did not have enough on our long weekend trip there. 10/10.

I didn't have the right bus card, but the driver let me ride...

I didn't have the right bus card, but the driver let me ride anyway... I found an old bicycle on the street, but the seat was not rideable, I could ride it standing up but not sitting down. So I stopped in a car mechanic's shop and a simple fix for free and I was on my way. Jeju National Museum of Art was interesting.

The location is 10 minutes walk to the Jeju City Bus terminal. It is convenient for guests who rely on public transport to move around. There is a CU store at the hotel lobby, very convenient for buying snacks and topping up the T-money card. The room is of good size and everything is clean and quite new. Bedsheet and towels are replaced daily.

Lovely view of the sea and promenade. The room was clean and comfortable. There was ample parking below the hotel. The Illy coffee store in the lobby serves great coffee and breads. It is within walking distance of the pedestrian shopping street and the night market on Jeju Island.
