We had a very cheap offer! At first sight at the location we thought it was a scam, as the hotel was so nice and we didn't expect such a great hotel for such a cheap price! The service was really nice and helpful! We made a mistake while planning our route and spontaneously wanted to stay a night longer. This was no problem at all, we could even stay in our room. The hotel is really nice with lots of amenities. Our room was big and we had a small little kitchen. We also had a great view on the mountains and the river!

The owners were super helpful, loads of great recommendations, really went above and beyond! They even lent me their swimming cap so I could go swim at the public pool. Great location, and lots to do and see in Danyang!

We travelled in early September and the spa facilities were not available. We didn’t really want to use them but if you did they were not available. The bed was only a double but it was comfortable. We had a bigger room but need to carried bags upstairs. Very quiet setting when we visited. Hot shower.

The cottage (with nice view over the lake) was huge : there were 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 large equipped kitchen + 1 large living room + 1 terrasse. The reception staff was very friendly & helpful. There was free WiFi in the main building and the cottage. We stayed only 1 night but we would love to come back and stay longer as the cottage is so big and the resort has several facilities (such as a kids playground) that we didn't have time to enjoy.

We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed longer.

We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed longer. There are a lot of things to see and do and lots of hiking/walking. Gosu Cave, the Danyang Gang Jando boardwalk to the Mancheonda Skywalk, the forest-bathing paths behind the town (we wore shoes), the Dodamsborg Peaks and Stone Arch, and many more that you can take a bus to or self-drive.

Guinsa Temple, the largest temple in Korea, located in...

Guinsa Temple, the largest temple in Korea, located in Yeongchun-myeon, was quite a shock. The view of Danyang from the Mancheonha Skywalk Observatory was also breathtaking. The Gyeongju Market was filled with delicious food, including garlic sundae (sundae), garlic gangjeong (gangjeong), and garlic bread, which delighted us. The city has grown since I visited 20 years ago, but it still feels quiet and cozy. I also enjoyed Gosu Cave.
