I rate this a 1000/10. Its a must stay. The staff is very friendly, warm and accommodating. The entire place is a gem on it own, it's very clean, organized and welcoming. Suited for couples romantic night outs etc. I would most certainly book again.

Casa la Bonita was amazing. The layout of the apartment was very welcoming and the host went out of her way to make me feel at home. Nestled in the quiet community of Millenium Heights, it is at an ideal location and the rooms are spacious. The decor is a perfect mixture of island comfort coupled with a personal touch that includes all of the amenities that you can think of. I loved that the property is in the heart of Castries and the host did everything to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. From picking me up at the airport to taking me for groceries, Yoeli is a fantastic host with a heart of gold. I was able to sit outside on the gallery and relax outside while enjoying the beautiful views. I also love that there were laundry facilities on site. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for two weeks and when I return to St. Lucia, this is the only place where I want to stay. I had a fabulous experience and I highly recommend this lovely slice of paradise to anyone who wants a place that truly feels like home. I am so glad that I chose to stay here and I can't wait to come back.

As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The apartment is conveniently located, just a short distance from the city center and the mosque. Rosemond is incredibly reliable and always available to assist with anything you may need—you can count on him! The beach is just a 20-minute walk away, as is the beachside supermarket. Alternatively, within a 10-minute walk, you’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants, small boutiques, and supermarkets, as well as a museum. The airport is also not far, making this location incredibly convenient. There’s also an adorable and super fluffy little dog named Chase who will happily keep you company—take a moment to give him some cuddles. The apartment is spotlessly clean and modern, with stylish LED lights on the bed and in the kitchen that add a nice touch. Excellent overall! One of the highlights is that you can also pay via Stripe. I chose to pay by card since it was difficult for me to exchange currency, and there were no issues at all. It’s completely trustworthy, and you can even pay in advance without worry. Note: Be cautious with your phone—avoid walking around with it in your hand. We provided our own breakfast. The property did exceed my expectations. I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The property was sizeable and spacious. Basic necessities were provided. It was very accommodating. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming but never intrusive. If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet Street Party, make sure you negotiate the price for a round trip. Make SURE you emphasize round trip. Some taxi men are so money hungry and will give you a price of round trip, but then try and tell you they meant one way. DON'T let them do that. Get clear clarification for your round trip.

Castries is a harsh city. Not violet.

Castries is a harsh city. Not violet. But difficult to spend time in. It's not setup for tourists who are not in a resort or on a cruise. There are very few sit-down atmospheric restaurants and bars. It's a city for the locals and its a poor community. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. They are wonderful people. But it's not what you might call 'charming'. The roads and traffic are a nightmare and a day here is enough. Rodney Bay is a much more vacation friendly place. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, but be prepared for confronting the results of colonial abuse and corruption. Frankly the locals are demonstrating a high degree of humility, love and forgiveness despite what our western ancestors have done to them, and are still doing. I learned something very important about western entitlement by staying here.

Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and...

Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and several excellent restaurants. People of St.Lucia are really friendly and always happy to help you out. There are plenty of shops stocking local and some international goods, especially the shops on-route to Rodney Bay. Choc beach near Castries was beautiful, clean & quiet with very calm sea waves. Excellent for swimming including children. We found the beach to be very quiet all day long with only a handful of people passing by, so ideal for sunbathing too. The Sunsets are magical.

I enjoyed the Cacoa Chocolate Factory and the chocolate. The mud bath; the water falls the botanical gardens and the Piton mountains. It’s mountainous which makes for very beautiful views of the island.

I enjoyed Castries.

I enjoyed Castries. Getting around is an adventure - coming from a place where we drive on the other side of the road. It's not difficult to adjust. The people, in general, are mostly friendly. Except for restaurants, no one takes larger bills and the banks close early. The food was great everywhere we went and it's a beautiful island! I'll certainly vacation here again!

Perfect location if arriving or leaving by ferry, but there a short steep uphill section on the way to the hotel. Also only a short walk into central Castries. It has a hostel vibe because there is a lovely common area on the balcony with great views over the harbour and downtown. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The room was basic but spotlessly clean.

We had a wonderful stay , this hotel is a small cosy resort that has fantastic views . We loved the amazing friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay .The room we had had a lovely ocean view and the Hotel offered a regular shuttle bus to the beach which was handy as this hotel does not have a beach as it is up in the hills

John and Shirley have a great place here overlooking the harbour. The view is great and the balcony is excellent to sit on at all times to watch the harbour below. Clean apartment with free parking and WiFi. Local taxi runs can be easily arranged for you. Castries is a short drive a way.
