In 1 word 'amazing'. Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.

All the people working there were so nice and helpful. I had a little accident with a rental Tuktuk and the staff got out of their way to help us organize everything and we had to do nothing. Also the rooms are wonderful and the activities are so much fun with a reasonable price. If you are near, definetely go to Malu Banna! Everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Jasmine. A beautiful quiet spot on the river. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely hot shower. The breakfasts were excellent - lovely juices. The Wi-Fi worked very well. We had a wonderful boat trip from the hotel along the river and saw some incredible wildlife. The pool was lovely and also very clean.

I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the warm hospitality. The location is also ideal, very much closer to Aluthgama town, just walking distance, which made it super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The residence is a very lovely building with lots of spaces for guests to sit and relax both inside and outside. There is a large, well-appointed kitchen for guests with at least 2 fridges. There is a washing machine that guests can use and the stall provide a drying rack which is excellent. The swimming pool is beautiful and the garden too is very pretty. The team who look after the place are all very nice - relaxed and helpful, always keen to assist. Pradeep who drives a tuktuk is also very helpful , a very good driver and a good member of the team.

Sahani Villa was fantastic. So clean and set away in a nice quite area. The owners and their family were really nice. Owner drove us around in his tuk tuk free of charge. Breakfast were amazing. So much food. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful Villa.

Great apartments right on the river. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Amazing western or Sri Lankan breakfast. Superb hosts very friendly and welcoming. Easy walking distance to beach and resteraunts. The accomodation has its own tuk tuk to take you and bring you back free of charge if you don't want to walk. Highly recommended.

The staff, the food, the property....all invite you to relax. The view of the lake in the morning....calm, peace... So it was really a place to come out of your mind and into your senses....excellent food....I didn't know that one can cook with such variety vegetarian food...and above all it tasted sooo good. Boat trip through the Mangrove forest...some sightseeing....sunsets...a Crocodile did some sunbathing on the rocks....don't worry it was far away....the staff always give you a hand...Roy the magician, Insaf and his father Ilyas. As I asked for a room with river view they gave me a room in the villa without extra pay. Once in awhile I had a head, neck shoulder massage...couldn't get enough of it... So all in all a very relaxed and pleasant experience....No wonder I stayed for two weeks...

Aluthgama is a reasonably quiet town,. İt offers a bustling shopping area with plenty of local shops that provide the necessities of life without the over abundance of tourist style outlets. Local transportation as in tuk tuk are plentiful and very cheap. İt is surrounded by beautiful open spaces showcasing the areas natural beauty. İt is however a two hour drive to Colombo airport.

We had a wonderful vacation at Aluthgama House. A beautiful villa that leaves nothing to be desired: spacious and clean rooms, a great, very clean pool, a gorgeous tropical garden right on the Bentota River, very tasteful lounges, great service from the staff, including excellent breakfast and great food for dinner. Yusuf is an excellent host who took the time to personally greet us and fulfill all our needs during our stay. He also took the time to answer all our questions before our trip, which we really appreciated! Thank you very much!

I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the warm hospitality. The location is also ideal, very much closer to Aluthgama town, just walking distance, which made it super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Stunning location on the river bank.. Hotel has its own jetty and provide a free boat ride across to the beach. Hotel offers a variety of watersports. Beaches are very safe to swim. Very close to the town centre as well. Very attentive and efficient staff

Clean room with big space and a large balcony overlooking the river. A swimming pool is available in hotel. Walking distance to the city. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Nice family atmosphere.
