The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, but what truly made this stay special were the owners—a sweet and welcoming couple who treated me like family. They were always ready to help, even offering rides whenever I needed them. One of my favorite moments was sitting in their beautiful garden, surrounded by nature, listening to birdsong while chatting with them. It felt like a little oasis of peace and warmth😊 If you're planning to visit Sigiriya Rock, Cave Rock, or the Golden Temple, this is hands down the best place to stay!!! The location is perfect for sightseeing, but more than that, the atmosphere here is something you won’t find anywhere else. I loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay for two extra days 😂 This hotel didn’t just give me a place to sleep—it made my Sri Lanka trip truly unforgettable. 10/10, highly recommend!!!!!

Clean rooms ( spotless ), AC works great , shower was great, grocery store was about 7 min away, enjoyed the breakfast and there staff were really helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended if you are planning to visit the town.

Although the hotel is on a through-road, inside the grounds it’s surprisingly peaceful. We didn’t hear much traffic at night, and the greenery around helped reduce the ambient noise. The breakfast was worth noting—it started early, had local and western options, and was served courteously. Insight: Touches on location aspects, noise concerns, and food quality.

A great stay at Villa one66. The room & bathroom were perfectly clean. The property is located very near the Golden Temple and Dambulla Cave Temple, definitely walking distance. The owner of the property is very kind & helpful. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan and it was delicious. They have owned tuk tuk service (golden tuk tuk) with a well-known guide. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

What a find! A new hotel, still 'finding its feet', but hard to fault. Greeted with a plate of fresh star fruit from the tree in the garden, and made to feel at home. Large comfortable room with a garden view. Breakfast was probably the best since arriving in Sri Lanka. And we were offered free lifts to and from all the local attractions and into town. We wish them every success.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect space to relax after exploring Dambulla. The hotel’s atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with a great balance between modern comfort and natural surroundings. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the service. We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from...

We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

Fantastic value for money budget hotel in centre of Dambulla, but down a quiet road. The deluxe room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and hot pump shower (quite rare in Sri Lanka!) Breakfast was incredibly generous - lots of fruit and baked goods. The manager is so helpful. He’ll sort you out with wherever you want to go or whatever you need. Rooms are basic but have everything you need.

My second visit to this comfortable small hotel located closer to Dambulla center. As always staff members reached out to me as usual in advance and got them selves prepared for the late night arrival. I reached there around 0100 hrs and didnt have any places to dine, However manager was kind enough to arrange a sandwich for me even though the kitchen was closed.

Great new hotel. Very close to the UNESCO Heritage Buddhist site. Had comfy beds, decent Wifi, great Air Con, quiet, and very helpful Staff. Also provided fantastic area information & tuk tuk transport. Highly recommended and if ever I return to Dambulla I will defibately stay here 👍
