This is a paradise spot!!! The owner's family has thought about everything. The stunning view, the abundant bird life, the short distance to the park's entrance, but also convenient details indoors, like the switch for the fan beside the bed, make the stay a wonderful experience. During our three unforgettable weeks in Sri Lanka, this was undoubtedly THE best place we stayed. Everything about it was flawless, but what made it truly stand out was the magical setting. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the villa offers an unparalleled connection to nature – you genuinely feel like you’re immersed in the rainforest, which isn’t surprising given that the stunning Sinharaja Forest Reserve is just moments away. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re lounging by the serene pool or relaxing on your private balcony, the vistas are like nothing I’ve experienced before – vibrant, tranquil, and endlessly captivating. The villa itself is equally impressive, with a warm wooden chalet vibe. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you’d need, including a fridge, plenty of sockets, and cosy furnishings. It felt like a luxurious home away from home. The attention to detail here was exceptional. Having stayed in several five-star hotels, I can confidently say this villa meets, if not exceeds, that standard. The staff deserve special mention – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged everything for us, from TukTuks to local tours, and even went above and beyond to make my 30th birthday celebration extra special, complete with personalised touches. The pool was another highlight – beautifully maintained, it was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And the food? Simply sublime. Dining in their charming greenhouse-style restaurant, surrounded by the garden’s lush greenery, was an experience in itself. Each meal was a delight, made even better by the panoramic views. In short, everything about this place was exceptional. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, nature, and outstanding hospitality, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka! The hut is very idyllic, surrounded by beautiful nature – a perfect place to relax and recharge. The communication before arrival was excellent, and thanks to Ravindra’s directions we found the hut easily, even though it’s a bit tucked away. He also organized a wonderful rainforest tour and helped with our onward transport. The breakfast was great, and we also had the chance to enjoy a delicious dinner. Ravindra was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay – really the best host we had. Thank you so much for everything!

The location of Dolagawa is magical. There is a river and a small waterfall where you can swim right next to the resort. We went to the Sinharaja Forest and the host arranged a 3-4 hour tour for us which was really nice. The food was good and the staff was welcoming, helpful and super friendly!

The food was possibly the best that we had throughout Sri Lanka. the accommodation was lovely - roomy, great view, good beds, mosquito nets, cool feature such as an outside shower. the staff were so lovely and helpful. Really great stay.

We did not visit deniyaya village at all but the area close to the rainforest is beautiful...the great thing about it is that it has not yet become touristy so everything at the moment seems more local and real. Not to expect too much from food,just simple local homemade

Super.

Super. + Simplicity is the tranquility and friendliness of the owners. Owner took us on a forest tour and showed us a lot of animals we'd never seen alone. The complete visit with the waterfalls was the most beautiful.

Close to Singharaja Rain forest.

Close to Singharaja Rain forest. You have also some good tourist spots which everyone can enjoy. Choice of restaurants is less. All are basic with nothing flashy. If you are depending on public transportation it is well connected to Galle and Matara from where we can get Highway buses to Colombo. Not developed as a tourist place

Fantastic location to visit and stay couple of days for relaxation. Visiting Sinharaja forest , Patna sliding rock , off road ride to sliding rock and Sinharaja entrance at mountain peak could be very exciting.

Fantastic place I have been many times. the property has a bridge to enter that is broken for months now. no way a vehicle can enter or go up to the ticket counter due to this. vehicles should be parked about few KM off the site. Sinharaja is a heavenly place.

I had a truly special experience at Natural Mystic Sanctuary. The views over the rainforest valley are absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the mist rising above the treetops and the sounds of nature all around was incredibly peaceful. The entire place has a calm, grounding energy that makes it perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge and connect within you You feel surrounded by nature in the most beautiful way, I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking tranquillity and stunning natural beauty in Deniyaya

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s hard to believe it’s so gorgeous, situated in the middle of dense jungle. The villa has such luxurious, comfortable rooms with incredible views. The food cooked by the family was the best vegetable curry we’ve had in the whole of Sri Lanka. We only stayed one night but wish we stayed more! We did a day tour and night tour and both were fantastic. Highly recommend staying here :)

Our stay at The Wilds in Deniyaya was truly tranquil and peaceful, with the perfect setting right beside the Sinharaja Forest. Rooms were clean, comfortable and adequate for 5 people, and the food was delicious. The hosting family was warm and welcoming and the owner also guided our tour into Sinharaja forest. It was a great stay and very good value for money.

Staff was very helpful. The trek they arranged was super. Nature at its best. A world heritage site Sinharja Rainforest entrance is just a two minutes walk. A key river of Sri lanka is boardering the hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. AC or Fan was not needed.Food was very good. Will definitely recommend this place and will come back again.

Everything was perfect! The view, breakfast and room awesome. Also they can help you with the guide to rainforest. The rainforest from hotel is 10min by walk. In room there is no hot water:) Host was very kind
