We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. His professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service is a true asset to the hotel. I would highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Kandy. Thank you to the General Manager and his team for an unforgettable experience.

The view from the hotel is amazing. It's very nice to relax at the pool or the balcony of your room. The rooms itself are also great, they are spacious and look nice. The staff is very helpful and available all the time. It's a nice place to be away from the crowded city center and with a tuktuk you easily visit the center. When you walk for 15-20 minutes downhill you will find a supermarket, bakery and other different stores.

My stay at Danisco Leisure Bungalow was spectacular. The family made me feel like home from the very first moment. I was alone so finding such lovely host is really a treasure. The rooms are incredible, all the furniture is brand new and the attention to detail is incredible. The air conditioning is a game changer. Also, the food is something I could never forget. The location is perfect if you want to relax by the pool in a very safe and quiet area but at the same time you want to explore Kandy during the day. Higly recommended!

EVERYTHING! it is a small hotel, located in a remote area, quiet, on the lake. The room was big, with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with both shower and tub. The terrace of the room offers spectacular view over the pool and lake. The food was very good, we ate here breakfast, lunch and dinner and we liked all meals! It offers an a la carte menu which we liked very much, we were sick of buffet style ... We tried also the massages, which were pretty nice as well. Last but not least, the personnel was very kind, attentive and always happy to help you with anything you want. They offer you a personal butler which is available anytime for you at a ring distance (they even give you a phone to call him directly when you need anything).

Amazing place, luxury hotel in the hills above Kandy with their own tea plantation. If you are looking for tranquility and hospitality, to get away in nature with luxury, this is perfect place.It is bit out of the way, Uber works but not fully, so organise your transport in advance. Breakfast is rich, roof top pool is amazing, nice spa.

Everything was wonderful, the location is breathtaking, staff are incredibly warm and helpful, food was great, the pool is stunning and did some yoga watching the sunrise just next to it. Only time I’ve ever had a room with two panoramic views, one of the sunrise and one of the sunset!

Located on a mountain top with a sceneiv 360 view of Peradniya Botanical Garden, The University, Mahaweli River and never ending mountain views. Location has both urbanity and nature with a sense of serenity. The Ayurwedic Spa and the eco-friendly environment is a plus point. Very cool in the mornings and night. But comfortable rooms with hot water and other modern facilities made our stay cozy indeed.
