I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. Everything was really clean, there is an A/C. The bathroom was by far the best in Sri Lanka. You can use a shampoo, shower gel or hairdryer in there. Bed was really comfortable, free airport shuttle service anytime. They provide a dinner, we didn’t use it but it seemed nice (in the picture below) :)

My recent stay at Gampaha Heritage was truly wonderful, with warm hospitality from the staff who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The guesthouse is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with spotless rooms and a fresh, tidy atmosphere that made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the quiet environment, created the perfect place to unwind. The rooftop area was an added delight, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a delicious Sri Lankan-style spread with great quality and variety. The location is ideal for a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to Gampaha city, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. From here, you can also travel easily by train—whether pre-booked online or with regular tickets—to destinations like Ella, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa. I highly recommend Gampaha Heritage for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in Gampaha.

Cannot recommend enough! Randoni Villa is super well located, just 15 min to airport. It’s a great spot, right next to the river, surrounding by lush trees and flowers with a great pool. The place is well looked after, rooms very clean, and the hosts are wonderful people- super welcoming, providing little details that make you feel really taken care of. The owner gave us lots of useful tips, and took care of us, while his wife and daughters served amazing home cooked meals.

Very peaceful location and super friendly owner. The house is large and has plenty of room, plus AC and a nice warm shower. Its located away from the road noise but still close enough to the supermarkets.
