We stayed in Nuwara Eliya for a week, trying out different places, and J's Villa was the best for its price and super clean. The host was really nice and helped us a lot. We felt at home during our 2-night stay. The host even said they could cook for us if we brought groceries, but we didn't try it because we ate outside. The location is good, not too far from the city – about 15 minutes by car. Overall, it's a really good place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Everything!! This was my second time staying at this amazing hotel, and once again, everything exceeded my expectations. The breathtaking views, delicious food, and, most importantly, the incredible staff made my experience truly unforgettable. Great owners (or keeper), super lovely chief, they are such wonderful humans with kind heart. We had great chat, they prepared lovely breakfast for us, like 5am, and a lovely place for our driver to sleep too. Driver also want me so send huge thanks to them because he was treated like a family. The whole place is maga clean and smell nice, even 5 starts hotel’s shower room are not as clean as their ones. You will know what I mean once you travel around this whole country.

One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. The villa interior is modern and beautiful. Exceptionally clean, well equipped room and with great amenities. Tea/coffee, nice toiletries, spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, TV/netflix. The staff were absolutely amazing - I made the booking very last minute and they really took care of me, which is important for a solo female traveller. Very warm welcome. The breakfast was very nice. Yes, the villa might be a few km outside town, but it’s a short tuk tuk ride. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.
