The service was excellent. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and attended quickly to all our needs. The independent surfing instructors were great too! We loved our room as well particularly the balcony. The location is amazing, just a few steps from a smooth sandy beach with the perfect waves for all levels of surfers. The water is shallow for a long way in without any rocks which makes it ideal for families with younger kids.

At the end of our trip to Sri Lanka we stayed at Komorebi for 9 nights and we are so happy we ended our trip at Enrico's hotel! At the arrival, Enrico welcomed us and helped us with our luggage. Because we were staying at Komorebi for a longer period, he made sure to give us some good tips and recommendations in the area. Because we had just had a long travel he told us to first relax and to always reach out to him if we need anything. And with that he really meant anything. During our trip he and his crew made sure we had the best stay possible. From taking us to a scooter rental shop to get a scooter, to actually providing a scooter of one of the crew because all scooters were rented out in Weligama. Coming back to a clean room daily, a very nice Italian dinner on the rooftop provided by Enrico himself, a little chat whenever we came back to the hotel and endless tips and recommendations for our stay! The rooms are lovely and just like the pictures shown on booking. The hotel is still very new but looks amazing! There is a beautiful garden in the front, the interior looks really pretty and calm, and a lovely rooftop to overlook the area. Within 5 minutes you arrive in the center of Weligama where you can find a lot of nice restaurants. With a scooter it takes you about a 10 minute drive to Ahangama or Mirissa so the location makes it very easy to take short trips to different beaches and restaurants. Enrico, Sanjeewa and the crew made us feel really welcome and made sure to give us the best week in Weligama, we would recommend staying here to anyone!!

A truly beautiful hotel – stylish, cozy, and very peaceful, just like a perfect boutique hotel. The staff are incredibly kind, sweet, and always helpful, making the stay feel extra special. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!!! The location is excellent, right on the ocean. Don’t look any further , this is the perfect place to stay!

The most beautiful accommodation in Sri Lanka. Large, spacious, extremely clean room with comfortable beds and soft pillows, clean cotton linen. Spacious bathroom, hot water, pressure shower. The breakfast was delicious, every morning they prepared a different dish for us. Fresh fruit, fruit drinks and bottled water at your discretion. Close to the beach and outstanding and the staff was very very kind. And the yard is nicely landscaped, with very well-kept exotic plants. we had a spacious terrace. Bonus, there were the monkeys that every morning came on the fence of the yard or on the roof. They were adorable and not aggressive at all. We were also able to use the washing machine and the property has a large space for drying clothes. This was very important for us. The internet works very very well. I highly recommend this property and would come back anytime.

Super nice vibe in this area!

Super nice vibe in this area! Not too crowded, yet there are many nice cafes and restaurants in the area. There is a super nice lagoon within 3 min walking and a beautiful beach within 5 min walking. Highly recommend Machan Curry Pot for authentic rice and curry, Pulse Nest for a serene yoga experience and lagoon hub as a co-working space!

Goviyapana is still the hidden gem on the east side of...

Goviyapana is still the hidden gem on the east side of Ahangama. 4 Minutes from the busy center of town. Has beautiful surf and swimming beaches and a blue lagoon AKA natural bathing place. Great local and western restaurants but still not as busy as other places in the south. Machan is my favourite local restaurant in this area. Buffet style sri lankan Rice and Curry. Definitely a must try. Check out Lagoon Hub if you are looking for a coworking space with a nice view and great internet and little cafe. Pulse Nest is a beautiful yoga shala right on the water. Everything in this area seems so serene and grounding. Would definitely recommend.
