What an amazing place. This is how I would define a true boutique Hotel. Few rooms, attention to detail, high quality bed & linen, very focused on the customer, top facilities in an amazing spot, great kitchen. In fact I found the place rather inexpensive for what it offered. The Hotel Manager Angelo and his staff are truly incredible and also owner who lives on the property comes out in the morning to have a chat with his customers. Not sure if I have ever given 10 stars but this place has clearly earned them - well done and keep up that quality !!!

I had a wonderful stay at Royal Lion in Galagadara. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and clean, with stunning mountain views that make your stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The food was also delicious — freshly prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Kandy area who wants a calm and cozy experience with great hospitality!

This place was absolutely incredible — a true hidden gem in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived until the very last goodbye, everything was perfect. When booking this Hotel I thought it looked nice, but that just do not do it justice. The welcome was perfect with an intro massage whilst checking in. The views from the reception are absolutely stunning set in an idyllic location. The staff were incredibly attentive, the room was exceptional with an in nature feel about it being so well positioned and overlooking the nature park. The only noises to hear were nature itself. Wonderful choices for food and drinks both local and international.
