We loved our stay here. The grounds were beautiful, our room was incredibly clean with a gorgeous balcony looking across the mango orchard, and the pool was absolutely lovely. The hotel is designed so that it’s very open to the outside, so you feel like you’re in the middle of nature. We loved the decorative touches, like the wall of masks and the display of colourful bangles behind the reception desk. The whole concept of the hotel, as a women-led enterprise, is unique. This was our first hotel in Sri Lanka and it was only later that we realised how unusual it is to have so many women in these roles. It gives the hotel a calming atmosphere as all of the staff were so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived (and lit the ceremonial peacock oil lamp!). I didn’t try the spa but my mum booked a treatment and, although a bit pricey, she loved it. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with a lot of vegan and vegetarian choices, although the dinner menu was a bit limited for vegans. We stayed two nights and wished we’d booked another, as we were so comfortable here.

We had an amazing stay here, the area was beautiful. Everything was clean and the food was delicious, many options to choose from. The manager - Bernard was extremely helpful(as well as other the other hotel staff). He made sure we had a good time, recommended restaurants and places to visit. He also took care of the transport and made sure that we got everything for the best price. Thanks to all the help we were able to fully relax and enjoy the trip. I can happily recommend this place to you.🙂🙂

Very nice place. The owner is very nice and can help with anything. He helped us get transport from the airport when we arrived at 3AM. He accomodated us immediately after we came. He speaks english very well and knows the area. He also helped us rent a scooter for a very good price. The pool is very clean and refreshing. Breakfast everyday was great. Altogether a perfect start to our vacation.
